i believe mind altering chemicals are bad... smoking pot doesnt really make you stupid, i know plenty of very intelligent people who smoke, thats like saying candy made me fat, the individual is responsible. salvia isnt that bad its just the smoke thats bad for you, but its not that great... shrooms are in no way harmful, they are food poison... its truly a mind opening experience, probably my favorite substance experiences so far. alcohol has more negative effects than all of these.
I agree. I haven't ever smoked Marijuana, but if I had to choose, I would choose Pot before Alcohol. My friends we're telling me about this flower (Can't remember the name) that you can buy at Wal-Mart (Yep, they truely have everything). The seeds are psychoactive. It's completely legal. If you eat the seeds, supposedly, it's like being on acid, but not as severe. I heard it's like being on pschoactive mushrooms. Would you ever do this?
I myself have never done drugs, or even drank alcohol.
Often times in literature, proper and more northern accents symbolize an educated person, whereas southern more "redneck" accents stand for ignorance. For Ex. In To Kill A Mockingbird, Atticus talks with proper English and grammar, and is educated ad intellectual. However, in the book, many of the people, such as Mr. Ewell or Mrs. Dubose who talk with southern accents are ignorant and racist.
I myself have caught myself judging those with heavy southern "redneck" accents without realizing it. I don't think I should, however...
