What everyone else said- Ninja Gaiden DS is the closest you're going to get to GoW on the DS. It isn't a long game but each play-thru unlocks a harder difficulty setting so that's something. Plus it's one of the best looking DS games available.

I gotta tell ya. If you had said 6 months ago that GTA:CW would be the best game from that list, I wouldn't have believed it. But it's true! Have to give Rockstar all the credit in the world. They pulled off what many people, including myself, thought would be impossible. A full GTA experience on the DS. Here's hoping for bigger & better games to come! 8)
Lunar Knights: Great dungeon crawler w/RPG elements.
Dementium the Ward: Basically a1st person Resident Evil game.Great graphics & sound.
Moon:A Metroid clone but excellent nonetheless
Brothers in Arms DS:Like CoD but uses a 3rd person perspective similar to RE4.
I have it and I think it's pretty good. Of course, since my DS is the only current gen system I own, I couldn't play it any other way.:D
I gotta tell ya I'm disappointed there's not going to be a DSi VC. I was looking forward to downloading some classic GB & GBC titles to play. I'll probably still upgrade but it won't be until I absolutely have to now. What a shame!
As with everything under the sun, I will reserve judgement until I see the final version in motion on an actual DS... not YouTube, not screen captures, but right there in front o me playin'... for me the game is so much more than graphics when it comes to any franchise porting over to the DS. I liked the DS take on "Resident Evil", I actually prefer the version of "Tiger Woods" over even the console versions because of the stylus control and how it mimics a swing... there's more to a DS title than graphics. This game could be just as much fun in it;s own way, give 'em a chance.ston3henge
I agree 100%. Don't pass judgment yet. Wait til it comes out.
