Yes, but it says cellphone as in "Sms to cellphones" and not "mails to you ordinary email acessable throught a wap enabled phone" :P so to me it sounds as you should be able to enter a phone number but i can't seem to get that option.
The pages you wiew on your wii is saved on your computer, so that would mean that it i turn my comp off or if i do not have a computer i can not use the Wii opera browser att all?
And if the computer saves all records of what other ppl have been looking at through the router they share, then i can see my brothers and fathers browsing history on my computer?
Sounds kinda odd to me but.... who knows, maybe they send the data to Nintendo and they look how many used it to look at porn and then send you a extorsion mail telling you that they want 1000usd or they will tell you mommy? :idea:
you just ruined the game for me by putting that in the Wii forums and putting that on the thread title instead of putting it in the Tp forum, thank you.
The Wii games are on Dvd discs, so if the hardware were not able to read Dvd,s then it would not be able to read the game discs either.
The problem is in the software, the Wii can indeed play Dvd discs since the games is on Dvd discs, but the games is a different format than Dvd movies so the Wii can not recognise the data on the disc.
And i belive the reason for Nintendo to skip that as a standard is that the software that makes it able to recognise the dvd formated movie data on the Dvd is owned by i think Philips so they would have to pay an extra fee for every Wii they make with Dvd support, and they said they did not want any expensive extrafeatures on the Wii to make it as cheap as possible so more ppl can afford it.
And therefore i think and hope that a download will be avalible through the VC channel for a sum that covers that "royalty" and ofc a little sum for Nintendo so we can get a Dvd channel.
Well, since none of the original games were multiplayer on line (mostly due to the fact they are very old so internet play were barely avalible) i highly doubt they would make them online now.
And the reason why Xbox has online on their download games = they are new, so im sure if Nintendo were to release downloadable games that is not old forbidden>
I have allways been and will probably allways be one of those who yould hate it if Link talked, i don't want some lame actors voice spoiling my imagination about how his voice sounds and what kind of answers he tells, it would totally ruin it for me even if made serious and probably for alot of other ppl too.
And about deciding what he is supposed to say and be like..... when i play Zelda i get the feeling we are beeing told a story about a hero and not actually deciding the story since we can't choose not to save hyrule and so forth and that's the way i like it.
We are part of a story beeing told and not making our own, and that's why Link should not have a voice or be able to choose what to say.
And on a side note: (Plz watch the old cartoon Zelda before you say you want him to talk and you will be discurraged :P)
It won't hurt the machine since it was designed to be on 24/7 standby and recieve mails and automatic updates while you aren't playing aswell.
But as the guy above me said, go to settings ----> Wii connect 24 -----> and there is 3 options where one is the update thingy and the other is the standby i think.
