Thanks for the input! :) The sole reason I'm weary of the S8000 is because cnet said it has poor pictures in the dark. Has anyone tested or heard about this?

Woah, people are super critical. Mickey Mouse and Zelda provided me with TONS of fun on Super Nintendo. I'm really excited for their Wii debut.
Seriously, all I wanted was phoenix Wright. Would've been a day one purchase if they'd managed it. I'll just pick it up when it's $20 now, hehe. TAKE THAT!
Last time I'll try to bump, I would really appreciate some insight.
No Last Guardian and no info on Half life whatsoever where the biggest MIAs for me
[QUOTE="SparkyProtocol"]Aliens Colonial Marines! I thought Gearbox would have it ready. They've given updates here and there so WTF. Hopefully they'll be at another conference this year.R4gn4r0k
Thanks for reminding me of that game. I can't believe Sega postponed the release of Aliens: CM for Aliens Vs Predator :s
The only good part about that game was the marine campaign so they should just give us that :P
Totally agree, those are the two best games to be looking forward to right now.
Oh my... One day later and no one?! Yikes. Well I suppose this'll be my bump.
Hey I posted here a few months ago about compact cameras, I was suggested something from the coolpix line (thank you again for the suggestion :) ). I've been looking into a few camera and at the moment I'm deciding between:
Nikon Coolpix S8000
Sony Cyber-shot DSC-HX5V
Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W350 (the older, but smaller model... also $150 cheaper)
Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZR1
Save for the cheaper model they're all about the same price. That being said if there wouldn't be much of a difference I'd go for the cheap sony, but I wouldn't be upset to pay full price if I thought it would be a worthwhile upgrade. Thanks in advance for the help.
Do we think that charity would want them? Cause I'd be for that..... I really doubt I'd get $60 for them at a card shop, but it'd be sweet if I could.
I just started going through an old box of stuff and came across about 100 digimon cards, 100 Dragon Ball Z cards, and probably about 1000 pokemon cards. What the heck do I do with them?! Can I sell them? Like at all? Anyway, lemme know if anyone knows somewhere where they'd be worth something. One man's junk is another man's gold.
Thanks
Why on earth would something being multi-plat be a turn off for anyone, ever. Especially if you enjoy a game. I would think we (as in the gamer community) would like to see machines that can play every single game. Now I understand that competition drives the market, but in a perfect world we shouldn't need to spend over $1000 to play all the different games being manufactured.I don't think this is the right board to post this is it?
I liked FF 12 a lot (no point complaining about the "story" at this point). I hear FF 13 is hard, which is a major annoyance for me. Plus FF 13 is a multi-plat which as usual is always a turn off for me.
