WARNING: Poorly Lit Precipice is Slippery when Wet

Hey all, I've recently posted my review of On the Rain Slick Precipice of Darkness, over at Your Comic Relief. I chose to place it there instead of here on GS because of the comic theme that is RSPD is central to that blog's focus. I may move it over here at some point, but I am alerting all of you to this review not to boost some "Gamespot Ego" or points system or whatever, nor do I generate revenue from YCR, I'm just letting everyone know what I thought of the game.

PS. I loved it

Life of a Welshman

So I have a new blog, one specifically for me to discuss, well, whatever I want really. Its called "Life of a Welshman" cause I'm welsh, and its about my life. Also, coming up on Your Comic Relief next week: Ebay Week. A week long discussion on all things relating Ebay and Comics. So tune in for that! Also, if anyone is interested in contributing a guest article for that next week, drop me a line or leave a comment! That's all for now, back to paper writing with breaks of Mass Effect. /drool

Mass Effect.... still

Is anyone else out there still going strong on Mass Effect? I've picked it up again, late semester, probably to avoid doing some work which needs to get done, and wow, I still love it. The story line is, understandably, not as thrilling as it was the first time through, but the gameplay is still fantastic. I'm playing through as a renegade this time, and I just finished the Feros mission. I dunno, that kinda threw me for a bit, performing an execution really wasn't what I wanted to do, I always play through as a good character my first time in a game, it's just my nature. But I couldn't break character, so I went through with it. Going to travel around the galaxy for a bit, shoot up some stuff, gain xp, and then head over to Noveria later, possibly after I graduate, which is in EIGHT days, just have to finish this work. Speaking of work, I guess I should be getting back to that.

Heyyy

I'm still around, and btw, Mass Effect is STILL AWESOME! Also, graduation in 8 days!

Mass Effect really couldn't get much better

I really think it's an absolutely phenominal game. I have played it close to non-stop since I recieved it for Christmas, (happy christmas everyone, btw), and I show no signs of stopping. I'll update again shortly once I'm close to being able to take a break. It's just too good.

Jumping on the (rock)bandwagon

So I just tried Rockband for the first time last night, and it's pretty sweet. I've been looking forward to getting my hands on that drumset for a while now, and it really delivers. I've gotten back into LotR:BFME, and I'm enjoying it, it takes a little bit of getting used to at first, but after a while, controlling all the units around the map becomes second nature. However, I wish there was a more efficient method of scrolling across the map. I'll let you all know what I think later though, once I've gotten a chance to get my hands on it more. Back to Rockband I think though!

DONE WITH EXAMS! (capital letters)

That's right, I'm done with exams, I can get back to blogging, gaming, and comic book reading. I've just gotten around to catching up with the last few weeks, just watched the new Batman trailer, I'll make a post on it when I've had time to mull it over and really formulate an intelligent opinion. Not sure what I'm gonna play first, maybe I'll get back to assassin's creed, maybe LotR:BFME, Rockband is at home, if I ever get my stuff packed up and send it back there. Bought lots of comic books today. Really just glad to be done. I'll post another update later once I get stuff sorted out and home.
