Funny thing, it may be the official number 1, but here with my firends and cousins (we are all SSBB frequent players) nobody uses Metaknight, in fact, MetaKnight is the less used character here in my house, that's why i love Brawl, there are no standars for anyone.

Well, many people dislike Meta Knight for being so cheap. BTW, are u a competitive brawler, like, going to tournaments and stuff?No, not at all, i only play with friends (they are not very good, they are more Mario Kart people) and family (they are at my level), and we dont see Metaknight as a great character, i mean, our mains are Peach, Mr. G&W, Lucas and Marth respectably, from that we going with Zelda, Ike, Pit, Ice Climbers, Kirby, Mario, Luigi, Fox, Zamus, Bowser, etc. and at the bottom we have Dedede (although i'm trying to learn with him), Wario (one of my cousins have been playing pretty well with him lately) and Metaknight, i dont know, i guess that none of us have seen the potential in this character.
I found that to be weird. Most of the people I know consider him an unfair character, Maybe at high levels of play the difference becomes more noticeable.
