Hi guys, Been having real problems with Skyrim lately, seems like my PC is crashing to desktop every 30 minutes of play! Really starting to bug me. Tried a couple of the fixes, the 4gb launcher and changing my sound settings, neither have helped... anyone found another solution? Cheers!
Hi guys! Heres a question for you, and i would like some input! I have just finished University and have been using a lovely 60gb PS3 for the 3 years i have been there, and its been wonderful. Now I am home however, its apparent that i actually dont have any friends on the ps3 network - boohoo - and all of my uni buddies are on the xbox! So, should i exchange my PS3 for £99 at CEX, sell my 22 games for £77 to music magpie and buy myself a 250gb Xbox HDMI from game for £130. I mean, i'm pretty skint at the moment but it would be nice to play some games with my buddies right? Is there anything i'm missing? Should i not even be considering this? Has anyone done something similiar? My PS3 isnt getting much use at home now, i dont really watch many blu rays and my super PC is hogging all the single player games... but it would be nice to play a bit of COD or FIFA with my mates right? Let me know any reasons for doing / not doing it if youre bored! Tell me that i wont regret it and I will do it tomorrow ... Thaaaaaaaaaanks!

*Spoilers* Hey guys, Ive been playing Skyrim with no problems for the last week or so, but ive got to the quest 'Aludins Bane' and ive been having a few problems. Firstly, after using the scroll the dragon didnt come down. I reloaded, same problem. I waited 24 hours, same problem, i used the scroll in a different location, waited 24 hours, same problem... so i used a console command to complete the quest. When fighting the next battle, i noticed that there were no voices. None of the NPCS were shouting and although all the spell sounds were there, there were no battle crys or anything. Similiary, my companion is quiet both in battle and now out of it. Aludin didnt fly away after completeing the quest either, hes just sitting on the ground not moving so that part of the quest hasnt completed either. Finally, it seems that every npc in the game now doesnt have a voice. I can talk to them fine, but their mouths dont move and no sound comes out. Is there any easy fix to this? The no sound has spread to all of my saved games, and i dont even know if i can complete quests any more. Why has this happened :( i am sad. I want to hear some voices!! :( Any advice much appreciated, thanks guys.
Hi guys, I wondered if anyone had encountered problems with the original Witcher game - the game often freezes when i load a new zone (exiting an inn, going to a new place etc) and has now started crashing when i save the game (deleting the save file and p**sing me right off) If anyone has encountered this problem and knows a fix, i would be very grateful. Thanks!
L.A Noire does NOT work on my 60gb ps3, cant get past the first mission without the console shutting down. never had a problem before, rockstar have told me they are working on a fix. hope this helps
Purely coincidence? Rockstar and Sony are at each others throats cos no1 can work out whats wrong, i've never had a problem with a game and its l.a noire that starts crashing after about 5 minutes of playtime, and u think its a coincidence? My only question was whether it could get fixed because of my old style ps3, not if it was a rumour whether the games causing crashes, of course its not coincidence! :P
Hey Guys, Theres a whole bunch of these threads on different forums, but i thought id ask for some advice here, i picked up a copy of L.A Noire yesterday for my 60gb PS3 which has never had any problems running games, had very few crashes and i thought to be in top shape, however 5 minutes in to the game the ps3 crashed... i did a bit of research, and it seems like quite a common problem for owners of my ps3, and i know theres no real fix yet, but do you people think sony / rockstar will be able to fix it? I'm certainly not going to buy a new PS3 just to play this game that my old console should be more than capable of playing, but if you all think theres going to be no patch that fixes this overheating problem, then i'm just going to exchange it for Mortal Kombat :p So what you guys reckon? And is anyone else getting stressed out by this problem? Thanks guys!
Hey Guys, Buying my first proper PC in a few days, mainly so i can get back into WoW but i also want a few more games to play when i'm bored :) Do you guys have any recommendations? Don't mind if their old games, but i'd like to test out the graphics card on my new machine so a couple of new, good looking games would be cool! Cheers!
