I remember a time when I was watching The [Good and Better]Screen Savers and they showeda free game named Golf?
It hasn'treallyadvanced lately, soI was wondering ifanyone has an idea where it went?
www.golfquestionmark.comis still working, but they're still on the public beta!
I think that the difference between people that buy games and those that don't is usually in their situation in life. As I am still studying and do not have a personal income which I can spend as I like I usually get my parents to buy the games which I need original in order to play online. Its much cooler to have the box etc but when you can't pay for it yourself and can get a "dark ways" copy which is identical to the original game except of no real cd-keys its very hard to ignore it.
Also some companies just downright do not deserve money whatsoever, such as the companies that make a game in 3 months to release together with a movie. The game is always bound to be **** and the only reason its ever released is to make some profit. A noteable big publisher which has published many money-scheme games that comes to mind is THQ. And ofc, EA's Sims. Although I think that I do not spend much money on games I have to admit I have a rather growing stack of bought games now :P All of which are special to me in some way or are just good. If you buy Sims and every expansion which follows I don't think I have much more respect for you than I would if you'd download it.
