No. The act of drinking is perfectly fine. It's the actions of some people that drink that are immoral. There is nothing wrong with drinking as long as it is done at the proper time and place and is done in moderation.SmashBrosLegendAgreed.

Just want to get a sense of the opinions here on GS.
P.S. Please include the verse and chapter name when referring to content in  a religious book.
Don't go saying the Bible says drinking is wrong unless you can prove it.

None specifically that I can think of.
Surely not America my friend?Nope honestly just general observations about economic relationships within any society. However there might be a slight bias that they may come mostly from America since I live here but that in no way limits my outlook on how I look at economic qualities within any society. Why are you interested if its based on America or not?
Because, if it is based on America then you have some serious holes in your ideas. 99% of people could achieve something if they were willing to forge their own futures. To be honest I find it rather ironic because in your topic heading you say "Modern USA Culture: A pathetic reflection of Idealist weakness". And to be quite frank with you thinking that 99% of people can achieve anything they want if they try hard even despite the vastly difficult condtions which they are born into seems very idealistic to me at this point in America. I didn't say "anything". I said "something". You are twisting my words.[QUOTE="Thunderjack"][QUOTE="dadafeig"][QUOTE="Thunderjack"]In response to dadafeig- What Nation/culture are you basing these ideas on?dadafeig

Surely not America my friend?[QUOTE="Thunderjack"][QUOTE="Teh_Law"][QUOTE="Thunderjack"]i would post, but im drowning in apathy Actually you are drowning in your own saliva. Close the porn window before you die. On second thought... don't. i see that this is a battle of wits, and you have come unarmed I will not need my arms. Yours are occupied. Its official. The USA has had its balls cut off by the vast idealist culture we live in, and by the disgustingly indecisive government hacks that rule said culture. We have lost any semblance of humanity by selling our souls to the almighty dollar and the dependent consumner mindset, effectively crippling ourselves and our children for generations to come.
Our government is afraid to use its military, and our people are by and large too stupid to see their cowardice. Iraq is no war; it is a poorly run, half assed attempt at gaining an ally in the Middle East.
And here, on the mainland, we are choked by our own devices of entertainment; we are drown in the apathy of a people desperate to keep their world from changing. America is quickly becoming a vast collection of uncaring apathetic socialist idealogues.
Something must be done.
Thoughts please.
