I don't think this is a federal issue. This should be on NY, PA, and DC. The attack was on the nation, but the responders in PA and NY were not federal employees for the most part. FDNY and NYPD are not federally controlled entities.

Still, it's a shame it didn't pass. 9/11 was a good excuse to start two wars and take away our privacy but I guess it's not a good enough reason to provide to those who were traumatized by landmarks being destroyed by airliners and thousands of people dying yet they found the strength to pull through the shock and helped those to the best of their ability.

Anyone who is in Iraq or Afghanistan or has family or friends there, take notes because they're going to find a way to screw our vets out of something, they always do.

[QUOTE="Tiefster"]I just let it go very quickly nowadays..ShadowJax04

That's probably all there is to it man.

I think you're overanalyzing this whole thing, which could also provoke some thoughts in you, obviously.

Some things you stress about, some things you dont.

Maybe, it doesn't bother me at all, people think I'm increasingly strange though, I could have a massive fight with someone the day before and talk to them like nothing at all happened the next day because in my head it didn't.

[QUOTE="xaos"]Welcome to sociopathy! :D0diN_7

You're doomed!:P Actually I don't think I've ever heard of anything like that.

I don't know if it's good or bad, it's not like I'm going out and killing people and waking up the next morning refreshed, but things that would normally bother me for weeks no longer do and if I do something harmful to someone I don't care or don't even remember by the next day. It's like having a clean slate every morning where the negative things are washed away and I only remember the awesome parts of my days. Even stranger I made a 14 hour week for myself by dividing our days into two twelve hour parts because usually by 4PM I have no idea what I did, good or bad, before then.

Can't say I know what you're talking about. :|

What I do know is that personally I have simply damaged my memory a bit over the times.

Pretty much if I ran you down in the street yesterday I might have felt bad yesterday but today it would be totally out of my mind and I wouldn't care about you or your health but if we went out and partied at a bar I would keep that memory with me because it was a good time. I don't suppress the negative, just let it go very quickly nowadays. A recent personal event is: I lost my best friend because we had huge disagreements about what we were (don't ask). So I pretty much told them how awful they were to me and how often times they drove me into depression over this or that. I didn't say it so calmly and verbally I was very abusive to the person during the fight. The awful part is they were a huge part of my life and by the next day I didn't care at all. Not at all, I've lost a few friends due to my shenanigans over the past few weeks and it would bother me but I don't care at all, it's strange for me since I'm usually overly emotional.

That movie sounds like a funny version of Memento

For the past few weeks I've been experiencing the weirdest thing. I go through my day and go to bed, when I wake up I have to recollection of what I did the previous day, I remember certain things, accomplishments and activities but any mistake I make or anything that has consequences seems to escape me. I guess it would be safe to say that I wake up everyday with a clean conscience.

It's not that I suppress or ignore negative events but by the next day I'm just emotionally absent when it comes to my actions. It doesn't bother me, it's actual very nice especially since I've always felt like the weight of the world was on my shoulders. I've been calling it Tabula Rasa syndrome. Does this happen to anyone else?

I usually take a betadine route, my cuts are so deep sometimes that even peroxide hurts, it's safe to say I should go to the hospital to get work done on them. After my last bout with myself I did a number on my chest and upper arms, looked like I was in a knife fight and that's what I'll tell the ladies.
