@chiefwiggum16: You read my mind. :) I'd love to say that I'm shocked, but I'd be lying. As long as GameSpot is part of the CBS stable "balanced view" should be taken with a grain of salt.
Personally, I actually take it as an excellent sign if the only bitch is "there aren't enough games yet". Reminds me of when the first CD players came out. Guess I should never have gotten one of those either.
At least this time we can skip the BS from the X1's original introduction. It got tiresome watching a number of "unbiased" reviewers screaming unintelligibly at the Kinect so that they could pick it apart. (And yes, they did, go look up the YouTube videos.)
Well, here's hoping that they know the difference between "more dialogue" and "more story". I'm willing to give it at try, but fool me twice...
And to say that they intentionally skimped on the story? Yea, sure, whatever... I don't buy it and think those folks changed directions so many times for D1 that... Ah, never mind.
That was fun to watch and nothing like a little rain at the end. Does wonders for the hair, I hear. :)
F4 VR - I'd love to try it out but like pause422 I'm not expecting much in the resolution/details department. Plus in the Fallout universe, if you can't walk around, what's the point? That all being said maybe they've resolved these issues but the jury's out.
ME:A - Yes there are glitches but to be honest in my PC play-through (20+ hours so far) the only thing I've seen is bad lip synching with the Angara. The irises (my previous bitch) have been tweeked and look a lot better. Plus with all of the "stuff" to do, if all you're concentrating on is facial "stuff" you're missing out on a huge chunk of the game.
I had fun with the ME:A trial and my only real complaint was with the eyes. My constant thought was "Why can't you get the d$#n irises correct?". If Skyrim modders can do it so well there, why couldn't BioWare get it right on their own game? Everybody looks as if they're wearing very cheap color-changing Halloween contacts.
That actually threw me off more than the facial animation issues.
Hey, Jess! Always a pleasure watching your segments.
I love the Fallout 4 is more successful than Skyrim bull... whoops, hype. When there are as many hours played, and user mods made for F4, then we can talk. Ok, just my opinion and honestly I don't care because I love playing them both.
