@Evan21 Actually I agree with you here. A lot of people seem to feel like they're being forced into a new way of thinking, while the review is only meant to be a guideline. It's 1 person's opinion, it doesn't have to be yours.

@DIGN Okay, so how about this... People keep saying reviews need to be totally objective. But then that would eliminate the need for multiple review sources.

Btw, I'm not saying you're wrong, in fact the misogyny argument doesn't hold up for me at all and I'm a female gamer myself. I would have preferred to see more talk about the textures, for example. But seeing people saying this is "shoved down their throats" is hard for me to understand. It reminds me of hearing of an American woman who wanted the Harry Potter books banned because it makes sorcery and stuff look cool.
