I'm surprised no one has posted this but 1UP.com, one of the biggest game websites on the internet has claimed that Final Fantasy 7 remake for the PS3 is to be released on January 1st 2008.

Maybe its a typo, but looking at the odds of a professional gaming site posting rubbish this serious, all I can say is woppee, my prayers have been answered :D

Lol. I think Sony are a bit too occupied with the demands of the PS3 at the moment.

But honestly, Sony should pay these Dark Alex and other hackers to encourage them to produce more software for the PSP (not ISO launching, stuff like playing your own PSX games, PSP remote, PSP Radio). Not only would they widely popularise the homebrew scene with excellent apps, PSP sales might just rise.

Hackers are more widely applauded and have made more advancements over the recent years than the paid, dedicated Sony team :D. Makes me laugh at how hackers are using the PSP more to its potential than the people who made the system are.

An iso is a removable media (CD/DVD/Bluray/UMD) image. Its like all the files in a CD, all those different folders are contained in the removable media icon, its image, its ISO.

And I dont think downloading PS1 isos is illegal anymore because they have stopped being produced. So its like downloading SNES, N64, Megadrive games for an emulator :P

I think this game is right up there with MGS - PO as the game with the best repetitive value (300+ hours for me). Exploring the hundreds of different weapon classes and fighting huge dragons is thrilling. Ecspecially, Ad - hoc which is great fun. I dont know what the guy who started this thread is talking about.

I admit there is no storyline elements, but whats the point if the game is just great fun. Plus, is it just me but this game never seems to get easy and boring.

Go to Settings - System settings - Format memory stick on your PSPs XMB. Beware, this will erase all files on your PSPs memory stick so back up all necessary files on your PC.

Formatting has helped me out a number of times so try it.

I hope the psp battlefield has fantastic online elements. We need some modern land/air/sea elements for online PSP play (Socom and MoH gets too repetitive).

Try formatting your PSP. Then try again.

Or maybe something is wrong with your UMD for Fifa 07. Try returning it or get a new one.

If it still doesnt work, your PSP is mashed up so get a replacement. Try it on one of your friends /siblings /cousins /parents /dogs:p PSP and see if it works.

If you want to browse the internet for free, you can either steal other peoples unprotected wireless connections or go to a Starbucks coffee shop or some other place where you are allowed to browse the internet wirelessly.

Or if you are a kid, then ask your teacher for the schools password to their wireless connection and browse their (depends if your school has a wireless connection or not).

And yes, you can play Socom online once you have set up an internet connection.
