A marine is trained to kill. An MMA fighter is trained to win a fight under certain rules. Under what conditions is the fight? If it's a regular street fight with some basic honor code(no kicks to the groin, no biting, etc), my guess is the MMA fighter would win. under MMA rules, the MMA fighter would definitely win. But in a no rules fight to the death, I think the marine is better prepared.

Source? And OT: His shows kinda suck, and he might have some ulterior motives when he's casting and producing a show, but the shows themselves don't seem sexual in any way.

If only he thought of the right words, he could've held on to her heart..

ITT: OP is sad because after a fling with fiancee (now ex) sister, he meets perfect girl who drifted away because OP acted like an "alpha" jerk when all he really wanted wwas the tender moments. Wat do OT?

ClassicRockFTW
Wait, who was this perfect girl? Do you mean this "perfect girl" is your fiancee's sister?

- Catechism

wis3boi
Did you choose Catechism, or did your parents force it on you? What about it exactly do you regret so much?

[QUOTE="VaguelyTagged"]

it's kinda hard to explain but in a nutshell; i wasn't interesting enough for the girl i loved so she left me. and i blame myself for being boring; i blame myself for being me.

VaguelyTagged

The thing is  you really don't want someone like that anyways.  The girl who is happy doing nothing with you is the one you want;)

i know what you mean and i can't argue against that but once you are in love you can't really convince yourself by logic. at least I can't.

I think we've all had illogical crushes. Before I met the girl in the OP, I had a huge crush on some other girl. She was this German chola girl (lol), and she had apparently cheated on every boyfriend she had ever had, but she was so nice that I had trouble believing that. I actually got along with her very well, she was actually really nice once you got past the cheating thing. I kinda doubt that she even realized how bad cheating was. Actually, yeah, she wasn't a bad person at all. And I got along with her very well. Well, most guys got along with her very well... I just don't think I could be with someone like that. In retrospect, I've had a bunch of odd crushes. ...I don't even know what point I was trying to make.

Yeah!I'm happy about that, but I don't think it completely solved my fear of talking to people which is something I still have  to work on.

super600

Well, problem is, I haven't seen her in 2 years. This was a while ago. But I still think about it every day. I have no idea what happened to her. All I know is that she changed schools the next year, and I never saw her again. I don't even think she has a facebook I could contact her with.

Do you know her name at least or something?I'm not suggesting ot stalk her.

Yes, I know her name, we were a couple for about half a year. I guess I left that unclear in the OP. And I've tried looking through facebook so I can just message her and try to apologize. I searched for hours and found nothing. I doubt she has a facebook. I know that she didn't have one when we were together, and I guess she hasn't made one since then.

That's how I felt when I made my first major mistake around a girl. I struggled tto talk to girls(even though I had a few good friends of mine that were girls). I broke out of this kinda when I started forcing myself to talk to one of my friends. It worked and we are still friends despite all of the terrible things I have done to her. I have done nothing as bad as you to any girl.Just forgot about your past and move on.Don't care about what your friends or people in general think about you. It's not healthy to worry about what people think about you(advice from that girl I talked about above). Maybe if you get luckyyou will be able to talk ot that girl again(via facebook maybe).

super600

Well, at least you got to talk to her again. If I ever get any kind of opportunity to apologize, I will. It's just hard to move on when there's no kind of closure. I hate knowing that the last thing I did to her messed her up so badly. I don't need her to forgive me, I just want her to know that I regret that more than I've regretted anything. Once I know that she knows that, then maybe I can move on.
