The earth heats and cools naturally, looking like a y=sin x or y=cos x graph if you were to correlate it. Some factors do increase of decrease the climate out of it's trend like CO2 emissions but it's nothing on a great scale. Our climate is self correcting.

We were worried about Global cooling 30 years ago and now it's Global Warming which is striking the media today. Of course, news stations won't tell you that because Global Warming is a hot topic which generates viewers on a global scale so it's can only mean higher ratings.

No.

You think the kid walked in the store and bought a gun? You think criminals actually have registired guns? Tighter gun control in US will do nothing but make it so criminals have guns exclusively.

There's nothing you can do to stop this. Columbine opened up the floodgates. Kids can come up in the school with guns, kill people, and then kill themselves and get no punishment. Yet they do get rewarded with having a name and being known. All they can try to do is increase security. Or put a gun in every classroom so if a guy starts going ape**** a teacher takes the M-16 out from under her desk and pops him.

See what I did there?

SwimPUNK

Nah I didn't. :P

But the way, the point of a tighter policy on gun control is so people who aren't responsible with guns don't have them. That goes for criminals too.

The minute the guns laws are tightened?

No that is taking away from our freedoms. It will stop the minute parents start doing there jobs better.

Gun use is more of a priviledge. Sure, parents being parents properly could probably help but it won't eradicate the problem. Look at Cho Sueng Hui. His motives for his actions stemmed much deeper than from the upbringing his parents gave him.

A drastic tightening in gun legislation could at least make it more difficult for kids to get their hands on these guns.

Good idea WWE. Choose two wrestlers who haven't had the slightesthint of a fued with Orton and one who actually does.

Anyway, I'm voting Jeff Hardy because the WWE doesn't want me to.

I didn't realize we need one of these every single day. Oh wait, now I remember. We don't. This is just your pathetic attempt to get e-attention by making a thread that is bound to get a lot of replies.Mumbles527

At least this thread evokes a great degree of truth to it and not just assumptions.

Mutually exclusive has absolutely nothing to do with belief. It's a term used in statistics stating when two or more situations have absolutely no effect or bearing on the other.

Loonie

Definitions of mutually exclusive on the Web:
# In two events, if the occurrence of one is incompatible with the occurrence of the other, (they can't both happen at once)

You meant they are not mutually exclusive, which means you can believe in both at the same time. This is why i corrected you, I was actually trying to be helpful.

They are mutually exclusive. That is what I meant. I still can believe in both. Jees, what part of that can't you comprehend?

My definition of mutually exclusive is a more precise description of your web's source.

Religion and Science are mutually exclusive.

Loonie

If they are mutually exclusive then you cannot believe in both.

I think you meant to say they are not mutually exclusive :)

Don't tell me what I meant to say. That's extremely patronising.

You can believe in both BECAUSE they are mutually exclusive. Think about it. If neither conflict with each other (mutually exclusive) then there is no issue in believiing in both.

Mutually exclusive means you cannot believe in both. Which is why I corrected you.
