*Reads thread - sees answers and responses to questions by the bucketful * Remembers this thread * shakes head in the knowledge that this converstion will go nowhere *

Actually, if you have a look at the above dialogue, you said "Jesus did change some old testament teachings." By implication, your conceding that he did not change others by using the word "some". If you know this for yourself, why ask me to give you further examples?

I thought you were offering to give me some evidence of the teachings jesus did change from the old testament. After all, I asked you not to distort what I said, then you said "Examples?" This would signify your desire to offer me examples of how my assertion was distorted.

I suppose we could start with Luke 24:27.

Your turn now, or will you continue your refusal to answer?

It doesn't work that way. If you make a statement and someone asks for examples...they don't look for old threads of yours. Point one..fail.

I stand by my words...that has nothing to do with your inablility to provide examples of what YOU stated. Point two...fail.

Grammar arguement...again? Point three...Fails. I know what I said...do you?

Do you know what a question mark means? It means I asked YOU for examples. Point four...fails.

I'm not digging out my Bible....quote what you use.

I asked YOU...so the onus of truth is on you.

I noticed in your arguments that you never provide concrete facts...you try to turn the tables. Now back up YOUR statements... SINCE THAT IS WHAT I ASKED OF YOU.

Game, set and Match LJS9502_basic.

Religion threads. Honestly, what do the topic creators hope to get out of making these threads?

Converting all religious users to atheism?

Disproving religion?

Saying that religion causes wars?

None of these topic creators have nor ever will come close to achieving any of these. It's just pointless banter. Face it, religion is here to stay.

It was lucky to get a B+ in my opinion. One problem with that is that businesses won't stick to it. Revenue > Morals in today's businesses. Plus, how is the government and businesses meant to manage such a scheme, you can't expect every single "fat" person not to have some degree of fattening food.

Plus, what is classified is fat/obese? What if some people are just overweight? Will those people get away with it? There are flaws in this scheme.

It depends which God, stupid.

The Christian God has never been stated to come from anywhere. It doesn't necessarily mean he's always been there but it doesn't rule out that possibility. That's the joy of faith. Believing and not proving.

It should do, on ESPN.

Who's your favourite's to win?

I think that New Zealand are most likely to win the Webb Ellis but from Europe, I think it's a tie between Ireland & France to win. I hope Ireland win.

Also, the US are gonna get battered. :P

[QUOTE="Total-KO"][QUOTE="elproson"]Any way what does that have with God to do? This topic is about the girl who doesn't thanked her friend and just thanked god. I don't really care if there are a god but I think it's wrong to not thank the person who is alive and that she could really see with her own eyes.

Well, read all of the posts between me and you and you'll see the connection. I'm not your personal butler.

But you haven't answer the question of this topic you have only said that god don't create wars:S

I have answered the question. I said I believed in God because I've experienced God in action. You should know, you quoted it :|

Religion is not about proving, it's about believing. look up 'faith' in the dictionary and you'll understand.

elproson

And I think I must have some proof to make me believe in such a important thing that what is overhead us.

Science is mostly theory. I guess you don't believe in that then.

If you are a scientist then you first have a theory and when you go to the lab or etc you could see the Science.

No. A hypothesis is what you have first. In the end, you get a theory.
