@jeremy- You know how the video game market works, right ? And competition, and monopoly ? Microsoft and Sony are competitors, and video game is just a business for them. You don't, ever, invite your customers to the competition, so you offer an outstanding product and make it exclusive to your company (console). Microsoft does the same: Halo & Gears of War being the two obvious examples. Sony won't offer one of it's game on the 360. Nike won't make an Adidas shoe.

@endorbr Oh, you must be one of those consumers that can't make decisions for themselves. I agree with you on the price of the package, too expensive for what it offers. But breaking news, you can buy the standard edition!

@thegedden Everyone's done a game better than CoD. The problem is the average gamer doesn't want better than CoD.

@slave1_basic If anything, we'll have a visual masterpiece. So even if the game sucks we can spend hours crouched in a corner looking at the stones on the beach!

@Albaficas They already have all that money ;p. Their Character Animators are among the highest paid in the industry (and rightly so), and they have a load of $$$ coming from Sony so they keep their games exclusive to the PlayStation 3.

For that price I'd expect a small figurine or the real artbook -- not a mini one -- to come with the pack. First day buy, but probably not the special edition.

@JustArtificial More than 7 years. The CoD engine wasn't even new, it's just an upgrade of the Quake 3 engine.

@DarkSaber2k The first Unreal 4 game is going to show this though. It's very cartoony (abit like TF2), but has to run on Unreal 4 for the CPU operations. I think the game will have some nice surprises.
