It ain't just GS, it's the whole gaming community.
Rarely have I come across someone who's said they were legitimately interested in the Xbox brand nowadays.
Besides, it's not much different from back in the beginning of this ending generation. When support for PS3 was scarce, and everyone and their mother was touting 360.
You're just gonna have to wait until the hate dies down and interests for both consoles start balancing out with each other again.
You're not giving good leverage to your case when you make it seem like you're falling for MS's "smoke and mirror" tactics either.
Also, I'm not trying to make this a fanboy debacle here. I'm just going off what I believe, which happens to be the popular opinion around these parts.
Does it make my opinion right because it's what the majority also feels? No, not necessarily, but considering the circumstances, it'd be the best bet overall.
Give me a break. They provided solutions to fix those problems.
I'm not gonna harp on Sony for small mistakes such as that, in comparison to MS, who deliberately tried to screw over the community as a whole. Emphasis on "deliberately."
There are plenty of high priced products in this world that lose their use over time. I, myself, don't expect the stuff I buy to stand the test of time.
If I got my money's worth in entertainment, which games usually provide, or sometimes provide even more than what they were worth, then that's enough for me.
