So if it doesn't require an internet connection, then it must allow used games as well? One can't coexist without the other.

So when you sell the game, it automatically deletes the game from your hard drive? That actually makes sense.... Am I missing something?

I want to wait till E3 to officially decide, but how it looks now , the PS4 will be the much better product.

I understand that Sony isn't the Golden God that people make them out to be, but you'd think people would have more faith in them.

Sony tells Eurogamer: PlayStation 4 will not block used games

"Sony Worldwide Studios boss Shuhei Yoshida has told Eurogamer that PlayStation 4 will not block the use of second-hand games, contrary to various reports, speculation and even a Sony patent unearthed last month."

I did not see this one but really everything he said could be what MS is doing including fees but at the same time it does make me feel a little better about PS4. I honestly hope both do not do it.

Despite the headline If you actually read the article it doesn't seem as convincing as you would hope.

The article states that the used games patent is not for the PS4. but for another Sony based product. It can't be the Vita, so really, who knows?

[QUOTE="locopatho"]Yeah sorry that's a bunch of shit. 16 BITS MOTHERFVCKER! WE HAVE BLAST PROCESSING ASSHOLE! WELL WE HAVE MORE POLYGONS DICK MONGREL! WELL WE HAVE BIGGER SPRITES ASS PIRATE! And so on. That shit always went on with specs. The used game thing is new and horrible I agree.LegatoSkyheart

yet I don't remember seeing stuff like this during the Bit Era.

Well to be fair, consoles were never this...."complex" back in the 16 bit era. All we cared about back then were the games because Sony and Nintendo provided different experiences. Now that Microsoft is ( or was ) equal to Sony in technology, there are more rabid discussions.

As an entertainment device, it seems promising. But as a gaming device, it's severely discouraging.

If Sony is still using the online passes practice, then they'll allow used games. It doesn't make sense otherwise.

If I were to buy any console again, it would be a Nintendo one. They know how to do it.Hexagon_777

1 and 2 are amazing and definitely worth the play through. Just don't have high expectations for the 3rd.
