I honestly think the steelers can do it in two weeks. the patriots pass defense isn't that impressive and if you can find a way to shut down their passing game then they can be beaten.
that's the last thing i wanna hear really, i was hopin this would get the curtis treatment. ye needs to go back to the drawing board IMO, can't tell me nothing was alright but he needs to lose that slow flow. rhymes are wacker than they were before...
noooo way thats from carter III, that sounds like scraps from the drought sessions or something. although if this ends up being on the carter III i hope it gets reworked or something because the beat = lacking and weezy's rhymes = unfocused as hell like usual lately
i don't see myself growing out of it per se, but i definitely see my taste expanding to other types of music. ill always love rap, but for me as a genre it is definitely dying, not that good stuff doesnt persist but for the most part it is watered down commrcial garbage, but thats hw its been for a while. i just never have the same emotional attachment to rap songs as i do say a staples singers song or a john coltrane tune. i don't know if ill ever get completely tired of rap though, due to the fact that i know i havent heard a fraction of all the good ish out there.
wow thats really disappointing. all the tracks ive heard have been way better than the originals so i was kinda lookin forward to it. hopefully it will leak or something, but if not its still good to hear that they are gonna collaborate again.
ridin' dirty is a great great album, and i agree about bun's verse on murder. he just comes in so ill "im the king of movin chickens, not the finger lickin....". his delivery of every line is absurd.
