Big difference between Microsoft and Sony since the first Xbox and the first Playstation. Microsoft always announces how their console will be this and that. Sony only announces the specs when the console is ready to be in consumer hands. Nobody cares how fast their console will be when it comes out by the end of 2017.

Good. This gives studios more headspace so that they can push their technology. This might be the first time that a GPU will run Crysis 4 that is already out.

@bobafetthatesu: And already you people are acting like this is normal. Nvidia just doubled the performance of their mainstream line of GPUs. If you can cash out for a 4K monitor then you should have no problem getting two 1080s. There's no way Nvidia could have tripled performance. I would think Doom should still run at around 60 fps for 4K. Maybe turn off AA.
