Having gone to every E3 since 2004, its undeniable that this year's event lacked the same impact as E3 has had on the years previous. While the focus of E3 and E for All may be different in terms of a business perspective, you're going to see some large announcements at E for All that would usually be reserved for the E3's of days past.csstriker4
That's certainly not what I've been hearing. I can think of at least five major companies who, when asked, said that they were going to focus entirely on their 2007 product line at E for All. Why would they do anything but that? They have no incentive to announce this stuff in the middle of the holiday season, they want all of the focus to be on their holiday line-up.
Also, while E3 was smaller, I found that I was able to do a lot more business with a lot less people getting in my way. Interviews were a breeze and I definitely got more stuff done this time around. I wished everything was more centralized, but I loved the new format (as did many of the people I talked with who also attended E3 this year).
