Was wondering if anybody knows if it's possible to order games from amazon.jp to the US. I want to get the new Pokemon Black/White but was wondering if they ship it and if it works here?

I'd agree with Weezer, The first 2 albums were great and the third was different but I liked it too, then downhill.

First Shiny I ever got was a Drowzee in the original Pokemon Gold, then saw a shiny Hoothoot when I just got my starter in Pokemon SoulSilver and I couldn't catch any pokemon yet. Trying to get a shiny starter in soulsilver anyone got any idea?

Anybody has an idea of the new Mystery Gift via WFC??

I need most of the legendary Pokemon (Arceus, Celebi, Heatran, Mew, Deoxy's, Shaymin, Darkrai)

It's possible, but you'll need more than 1 johto version and 1 sinnoh version since there are version exclusives. Either that or you'll need to trade with others like the makers intended...Hegna1

You mean I need all four?

What's with the obsession with old old games? I mean yeah they were good back then but compared to games now they just fall short. Take Mario for example. It was utterly epic when it first came out but now the idea is not only old but really not all that impressive. It's essentially jumping and dodging and what not. Platforming at its simplest. Thats fun but not really that impressive. I mean The Guy is the same thing right (except impossibly hard and therefore much less fun) and it's for free yet people still bought the new Mario (which is basically the exact same thing).Obviously there's been thousands of games just like Mario and obviously they were all just copys but thats my point it's so damn easy to copy!

Now games like God of War take that kind of simple platforming and incorporrate it into other styles of gameplay seamlessly. Not only is there great platforming but great hack and slash action, great visuals (not needed but a definate plus when it's that good), and a great theme overall (my humble opinion of course). Now I know we all have our own opinions and you can say that Mario acheived a level of fun higher than God of War but one thing you can not say is that it does anything better because I'd love to see you try and prove that. That's basically all I'm trying to get across.

(Yes I know there are games that copied God of War but somehow they never seamed to get it right like GoW did)

(^^^Except for Dante's Inferno possibly)

I would say you were either born in the 90's and never got a taste of the 80's gaming revival or you were not much of a gamer back then and could not appreciate the simpleness yet addictiveness these games have brought. It is very difficult to translate what older gamers find in games like the old Super Mario Bros. to the newer generations. The definition of a hardcore gamer is not a person who plays the coolest and only the new games, but also plays the old and very hard games of any system. The very idea of a hardcore gamer came when videogames were not what the cool kids were known for. Now a days to be cool you must own a PS3 and play a certain demographic of games which by that is actually limiting your scope in gaming which is why I would believe you would be posting that you have.

In other words if you don't get it why people love Mario games and the oldies, you don't think about it cause you'll never get it. You don't have to, you were never meant to. Somethings are never meant for you to comprehend because you missed out on them.

BTW, I played God of War and waiting for part 3.

I wouldn't say it's not the same. If you were a 10 year old it would still be exciting and amazing for you. But alas you are not, so it only carries the nostalgic value that which you hold so dear to you.

Renegade_Fury

People blow "the nostalgia" argument way out of proportion. Just watch some old shows and see for yourself. For example, I hadn't seen Tales Spin in at least 16 or 17 years, so it was almost like watching it for the first time again, and I absolutely loved it.

Nostalgic factor well get me but till when, I don't need the constant reminding me why my childhood is much better than these new kids was because our cartoons were way much better. If i happen to stumble upon an episode I would be delighted. If I get it as a christmas gift, it would make my day.
