Soohoho, I have The Guild 2 plus all expansions. I have four separate .exe files, with four separate title screens for each. Is the idea to play them sequentially or just go for the latest addon (Renaissance?). Cheers lovelies.

Spellforce? It's RTS/RPG-ish.

I'm recreating this from memory so it's totally vague, but I remember playing a demo of this game way back when I was a kid. It was turn-based, fully 3D action/RPG-y, perhaps playing as dwarves? Definitely fantasy. I remember in the demo you fight your way through a town, I think there was the option to pick up treasure or use items within the game world? Bit of a tricky one I admit. Can't remember anything else really, so if anyone gets it it'd be a miracle.

The Razer Naga is really comfortable, but if you're not after extra features the array of extra buttons is probably useless.

Sorry if I'm being thick, but it looks like you've paired an Intel chip with an AMD only motherboard?

I don't get why people love HOMM3 so much? Is everyone too old to remember Heroes 2 or something? Heroes 2 made Heroes 3 look like a casual game for people who had never used a PC before.

Right, does anyone remember a game where you ran a holiday resort, and could use underhanded tactics to get at your opponents? Things like sending a man with a shark fin stuck to his back to swim along their beach, really hilarious and evil. If anyone can help, I'll be most grateful!

I can't speak for 4, but Silent Hunter 3 is fun for a few days. You can upgrade your sub and completely trade it out for better ones, and the gameplay can be pretty damn tense when you're running in rig for silent mode, 50 metres under a ship trying to depth charge you. The tutorial was tough but fun, the only problem is... the campaign, or rather lack of it. I was hoping for scripted missions, or at least *different* missions, but instead every mission is 'patrol: X grid reference'. If you can get over having to make your own fun in that way, you're going to poo your pants at how good it is.
