Pokemon creator dead?

Wow.

Apparently the creator of Pokemon died in the earthquakes/tsunamis that occurred in Japan yesterday.

But there is also statements made by Nintendo that all the staff are safe.

Hmm...

Can anyone confirm?

Cataclysm is just disgusting. Period.

Here's the review:

So what do you guys think of Cataclysm? I spent the best part of a month analyzing it, and it simply didn't do the trick for me.

Blizzard have potentially lost a dedicated user as the game is now just growing stale. New MMOs such as Rift are making their peaks, and they seem to offer much more substance than WoW is currently, so arguably, we're gonna get more guys leaving Azeroth than entering it.

Blizzard, PLEASE revise your positives and implement them, and if possible, expand on them in the next expansion, instead of milking it every year. The content in Cataclysm is the kind of stuff I'd expect in an ordinary patch.

My Bulletstorm review should be up next week cause I've just got through the first hour or so of the campaign, so I should be finished with it by next week.

Thanks,

Killzone 3 is pretty ****

My Killzone 3 review:

http://uk.gamespot.com/ps3/action/killzone3/player_review.html?id=756526

It's an OK game. Nothing special but worthy of being played.

I also added my Test Drive Unlimited 2 review which you can also check out. Quite a disappointing start in terms of games out this year but many great releases should be coming out soon this year. I particularly got my eyes fixed on a game called Bulletstorm. Looks like my sort of thing. What games you guys hyped up about!?

Anyway, see you guys!!

MGS: Peace Walker - My Quick Thoughts

Tested MGS: Peace Walker for the PSP.

I can say it sucks because of something Konami hyped crap loads. Yeah - you guessed it. Multiplayer co-op. Its said to provide the ultimate online gaming experience. Sadly, it has NO FREAKIN' ONLINE mode at all!!

I'd probably give the game a 6.5 because I've waited forever and I just feel like Konami kicked a load of cow crap into my face. Honestly, come on guys - get your act together. It's like an exact clone of Monster Hunter except slightly better.

I'll be honest with you, its a fun game but its just not a game you can enjoy for too long cause it gets boring soon when sneaking by yourself, and some levels are impossible. You really need online co-op mode for maximum fun. This game only support ad-hoc mode so 4 players in 1 room can only play.

Sucks to be meh!!

Only purchase this game if your a die-hard MGS fan cause its quite likely you might be disappointed because its virtually no different to Portable Ops minus the online co-op. No blood too :(

I've got through the first 3 hours or so and storywise everything is going well - Just a real bummer that there is no online co-op available.

My full review shall maybe be published around next week by when I should be done with this game as well as Splinter Cell Conviction (which I actually started 2 days ago).

Game Testing Critic (GTC)

I apologise for the lack of updates via my GameSpot powered blog. I don't find it neccessary anymore to add blog updates just to point out my new review is out since anyone who has subscribed to my review series would probably get an automatic email notifying them about this.

That aside, I have got the chance to test certain games from the following companies:

  • Ubisoft
  • Capcom
  • SEGA

However, I only have access to some of the games they develop. Due to this, I will have more time to play the games and hopefully even put up reviews before they hit the stores. But in order to not affect business/sales, I might post it after the game hits the shelves.

Most of you should hopefully know by now that I work in the video game field. I work as a critic for EGE currently and also post personal reviews on GameSpot. I also am a game tester for several companies, although not officially part of their testing team, I am a valued customer so some games (usually small-time ones), gimme a copy to play and find out the bugs. I have tested many games now and have done some reviews based on what I have played (even though they are not the finished games, I will most likely post reviews of the game anyway if it obviously sucks).

With all that said, I am ready to add some new reviews on yet-to-be released games soon.

Thanks,
