ZOMFG YOU NEED TO BUY ONE! That's the way they designed the PS3. They made it so that if you didn't buy an intercooler it overheats. Oh wait... They designed it while thinking idiotic people won't have it enclosed in a box while playing.
Same thing happened to me, turned out that the phone AND PS3 were picking it up at the same time. So I had to disable it on the phone and then do it on the PS3. Or turn ur phone off first and then try it.
