Now it has 672,000 in the last 24 hours,but that doesn't quite tell the whole story,now Halo Reach doesn't show you how many players it has online at the moment,when on launch it did,so you can't know how many people are actually playing at the moment,i am sure that if you put Black ops in payers per day it would far eclipse Halo Reach,even MW2 close to Halo Reach launch had more players online than Halo Reach on PS3,which is quite and achievement for PSN since no game on PS since Halo 2 multiplatform or not was able to get more players online than Halo.

Also Halo Reach probably sold 3 times what Uncharted 2 did or more,so is not a apple to apple camparison.

Also Reach is not the top game on live but if like the 3rd.

my point was that there are NO PS3 Exclusives that could match the population figures of Halo Reach (like i also said, reach isn't even the number one game on Live). Uncharted 2 has according to someone approximately 17000 people online at anyone time? there are usually at least that many just playing Reach's infection playlist. you have a 360, why dont you go on and check the numbers for yourself;).

So despite PSN being free, the number of players playing one of its most highly praised games doesn't even match up to just one of Halo Reach's many playlists.

but while we're still on the subject of spinning reality in favor in a certain console, why don't you let us know what you think of the method of excluding a part of a system's library due to some arbitrary timestamp that renders a game "too old to count"? :lol:

Heh these are facts now? Doesn't critically acclaimed usually mean someone's opinion, didn't a guy get fired from here for giving a bad review. I wouldn't put too much weight in these scores let alone use them as proof as to which has the better library.

Didn't MGS4 win the GOTY award over GTAIV in 2008?

Even so, if we're talking about exclusives, and if we're talking about PS3 v. 360 here, then MGS4 is the best exclusive game this generation according to GS.

So do we count the PSN/LIVE games that were re-released from previous generation? Plus I think it was brought up that some of those AA, AAA games on the 360 list are multiplatform games that are found on the PS2.

Everything begins normally every gen. I'm just saying, don't underestimate them. Sony fans have thought that the PS3 would win again just like with the PS1 & the PS2 & thought that Nintendo or MS wouldn't do good for this gen, & look what happened.

Absolutely pales in comparison to the amount of units the first two consoles shifted in the same timeframe.

If Sony played it well from the start, System Wars would probably consist solely of arguments between PS3, PC and Wii gamers.

Impressive... Gears wasn't open yet it still managed to do very well, where anyone with a PS3 and online access had the ability to play U3's beta and it barely outnumbered Gears 3's closed beta. That speaks volumes for both games but more so for the Gears community. yoshi_64

I want a hard copy game, I assumed that a digital copy would be cheaper than a hard copy because of the lack of case, instruction manual and having to go through a seller like gamestop, but PSN still charges the same price as a hard copy and it takes forever to d/l AND it takes up space on your hard drive.
