MASSIVE NEWS! PS3 sales are DISMAL!

According to analysts the PS3 sales for September are very poor compared to the sales for the XBOX 360. They also expect sales reports to be poor for October because the new 40 GB version will not be released until the end of the month. The XBOX 360 has received a massive boost from the award winning Halo 3 which has already sold over 3.3 million copies in the first week in the USA which is just incredible. I now expect Sony to think up a new deal or something for the PS3 because they have failed badly in keeping up with Microsoft. Is Sony in crisis or is this just a temporary increase in sales? I've been updating my profile recently including a rather weirdly short banner and two new reviews (Halo 3 and Forza 2). Everyone who visits my profile, can you please read my reviews and recommend them or not depending on what you think of them. More importantly however, I'm going to do a new tournament through my blogs which will make XBOX 360 games face off against one another until there is a winner. Which game are you most looking forward to?

I want to know which games everyone is getting excited about and the ones they really want to get. My favourites are Call of Duty 4, FIFA 08 and Halo 3 because they're all very exciting and varied in my opinion. Many people say that Halo 3 is all just hype but I think that it deserves it's rating of 9.5/10. It has a loyal fanbase around the world and the multiplayer is some of the best I've ever seen. FIFA 08 looks like it's going to be the best in the series yet thanks to the new Be a Pro mode and other exciting and varied features. Leave a comment to tell me your most anticipated game!

I'm getting Halo 3!

I can't wait until I get Halo 3! My relatives seem to be extra kind this year because they've also bought me a 360. Gamespot and IGN both gave it a 9.5/10 so it was must be very good. Aparrently the new Forge mode is brilliant. I'll have to see for myself before I get to carried away. There is also the upcoming Halo Wars to think about and it'll be very interesting how that'll turn out. Leave a comment.

I've finished Gears of War now and I've started on my second game Forza Motorsport 2. To be honest it's a bit boring playing Forza 2 even though it's got so many great reviews. It's got a different feel to other racers and I think that I'd like Project Gotham Racing 4 more. I'm planning to get Halo 3 in October and I can't wait! I've also been visiting the XBOX 360 marketplace and I have downloaded a few demos. Overall the month has been going well and I've really enjoyed my new 360! Leave a comment. CYA!

Another month on my 360

What a summer!

My relatives gave me an XBOX 360 as a present and and I decided to use my Nintendo Wii money to get games for the 360. It's aassive turn around from the dicisions I had made at the start of the summer. I've got Gears of War and Forza Motorsport 2 at the moment for the console. Sorry about the blogs!

I'm sorry that I haven't been able to blog for such a long time and that I haven't been active on Gamespot at all. I've had an operation on my left leg and it hurt a lot so I couldn't do much at all for a around a month. It's been a long time and I'm very happy I'm still on Level 15 because I've worked extremely hard for that. For good news though it seems that the launch of Halo 3 is getting closer and closer and closer and I just can't wait! I f anybody has a ny news on Halo 3 at all then I'll be very happy to listen.

I'm getting a Wii!

Yep, it's official. I'm getting a Wii and I'm proud of it. I'm not getting a XBOX 360 because I've figured thart I want a different gaming experience rather than the usual stuff. I can't wait for my Nintendo Wii to arrive by next month and I'm browsing through Wii games which are better than I thought. Can anyone recommend any Wii games that are good? Sony to release 80 GB PS3 and have anounced pricecuts

From July 9th the PS3's price is going to be cut to $499 in the US and $549 in Canada, the same price as theformer 20GB model. As well as cutting the price of the 60 GB console, Sony are also going to release a new massive 80 GB console to make up ground that they've lost from earlier hardware delays. The larger-capacity system will go on sale in August for $599, and will have all the functionality of the 60GB model. I think this is more smart thinking from Sony who are trying to agressively snatch back the market they lost to Nintendo and Microsoft earlier this year. The PS3 only sold 82,000 units in the US in May, compared to the Xbox 360's 155,000 units and the Wii's 338,000 units. Sony are showing they're intent and I think it's good news for all of us as gamers. Leave a comment on your thoughts.
