could of never had platforming in quake and duke nukem 3d without jumping it adds another gameplay element to the games.

fps could of never paid tribute to mario.

That's what i felt like when i was a kid i guess aint too bad no jump makes it stand out sorta these days.

alien vs predator atari jaguar 1994 was the first fps i played and it had no jump button but id still rather have jumping in my first person shooters.

not jumping in wolfenstein 3d and doom wasnt a design choice it was a technology limitation.

007 and perfect dark and timesplitters supposibly made by ex rare people not having jump is not a technology limitation its a design choice that pisses me off.

duke nukem 3d changed all that allowing for crouching,jumping,flying,swimming.

Duke Nukem 64 Co op 1997

Yes i bought duke64 in 97 and those features being in a 2000 game perfect dark isnt gonna exactly impress me.
