I think i remember hearing that official timeline doesn't exist, because miamoto (sp?) has contradicted himself a few times in interviews...There actually is an official Zelda timeline that the Nintendo development teams consult when make new games, but it has never been publically released.

there you go, but there is nothing official.
Hello there, I just wanted to drop in for some advice. I'm looking into buying a DS lite with one or two games as a starting point. To be honest I've been more of a PC/360 gamer up to this point, and mostly with shooters at that. I'll just cut to the chase and list some games I know I like so I can pick the right DS game(s) for me.
DS Games I Have Considered:
Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings - Seems like a good tactical game. RPG and RTS elements look like an interesting mix.
Final Fantasy Tactics A2 - Again, seems like a good tactical game. I'm not sure how annoying the judges are in battle.
Pokemon Diamond / Pearl - I used to be a big Pokemon fan years ago, but fell out of the series back around the time Pokemon Yellow came out in favor of more "adult" games. Would probably appeal to my inner collector and seems to have great longevity in terms of gameplay. Isn't Pokemon Platinum coming out soonish? Worth waiting for?
The World Ends With You - Seems interesting, but I just don't know how much I would like the gameplay. I feel like I would either absolutely adore it or completely hate it. Replayability?

FFXII:RW isn't that good, get FF4 instead.
I would recommend mario kart, and new super mario bros be added to your list. The're not fps or tacticle, but they are still good games. When you get the ds, you will just have to view games differently :D
Right now I just have Cartoon Network Speedway, and I am considering giving him Madden but most likely not. What would y'all reccomend?memphishighhmm there were some good mario games on the gba, pokemon is also good ( i got my copy when i was 6 so it's close enough)
im a senior so .... Normally 3+ hours a day. In my school i have a 2 day schedule:
Day 1
AP Language - Maybe 1 hour a week
Honors Contemporary Issues - We write 2 essays a week, but he doesnt really read them - Probably 1 hours
Honors physics - Between lab reports, test, and problems - probably 5-6 hours a week
Teachers Assistant - None
Day 2
Honors Chem2 - Home work, lab reports, test - maybe 2 hours a week, 7 hours before test (he cant teach at all)
AP Literature - 3 hours a week (Mainly reading stuff)
Desktop Publishing - Computer class, no homework
AP math analysis and trig - mayble 20 minutes a day
Depending on the week i would guess probably do 15ish hours. Not to mention all the work i have to do over the weekend. For example, during thanksgiving break, i had to write 2 lab reports, 1/2 of my lang essay, read my lit novel, physics problems, and start studying for my physics test.
