What's the best lengthy RPG (or Strategy type RPG) for DS aside from Pokemon titles?

What I'm considering:

FFTA 2 - I liked the GBA game well enough

DQIV - I enjoyed DQVIII quite a bit but haven't played any of the earlier titles aside from the original on the NES which was ok.

I don't have any RPGs for the DS, probably because I play more GBA games on it than DS titles so older games as suggestions are welcome.

DS: FFTA2 is fun. so is FF 3 and 4 pokemon games are also a must. not sure about DQ4 :\

GBA: you might try fire emblem, its kinda like ffta

Ya I haven't got enough use out of my ds lite to just waste my money on buying a dsi. I'll probably wait a year or two. Plus it sucks they are taking the gameboy slot out! Kingdom Hearts Rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Alright this is eating at me, I pre-ordered the game, from a company called hastings and they told me they wont be in till late november-early december. Walmart told me November 7th. Ign says october 28. Which is it?! Oh And I live in the united states.TheTowers
