[QUOTE="Ultimate_Bacon"][QUOTE="KnowledgeOrCred"][QUOTE="Ultimate_Bacon"][QUOTE="KnowledgeOrCred"][QUOTE="Ultimate_Bacon"]These are my four favorite sports (in order from most liked to least liked):
1. Mix Martial Arts
2. Boxing
3. Wrestling (pro)
4. American Football
I love Mix Martial Arts sooooo much, i'm gonna be a Mix Martial Artist someday, i'm already starting to work out, my body is small and puny, but by the end of this summer i expect to be a sexy beast. (not that i'm already not, i'm already sexy as hell 8) )

what the hell is mixed martial arts
i do Jyu Ji Tsu and all, but?
it's where fighters that know more then one martial art competes against other mix martial arts. It's great becuz diffrent martial arts have strong points and weak points. for example Muay Thai kick boxers are really good at stand up and clinches, but greco roman wrestlers are good at takedowns and grapple moves, so they learn other fighting styles so they can improve their weak points. I plan to learn Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai, and Boxing. and just for the hell of it i'm gonna learn Ninjutsu and Caporeira (how ever you spell it) but i plan to learn the first three first.
alright, but honestly thai kick boxing would literally win every time in a competition, if you've ever trained with one, you'd know what i mean
That depends on the fighter, they would have to face some one with sucking stand up game or they would have to have good take down defense, also if they do get taken down, they would need to have a good ground game.
:shudders: brazilian jyu ji tsu
trust me watch a competition in Thailand, that's the proffesion of choice there, the best of the best
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is basically normal jiu jitsu except it was altered by some brazilian guy, forgot his name, i think his last name was gracie or something, so that you could fight people bigger then you. MMA isn't a competition of "Which fighting style is the best?" but "Which fighter is the best?" and they learn more then one fighting style becuz diffrent fighting styles have diffrent advantages and disadvantages. thats why when you watch UFC, most people that are just one martial art usual suck, unless they're super naturally good at their fighting style. Like Randy Cotoure, he is really good and Greco-Roman Wrestling that he doesn't need to learn other martial art styles, but he does work and train with people that know other styles so he can know how to take them down. Although, some people prefer certain fighting styles over other, so it basically is based on the person's opinion on wich fighting style they like.
