We don't know anything about the next generation consoles, what are we basing our opinion on? Personal taste? Prediction to scenarios that might never happen? Believing that the same thing from the past will happen again in the future?

as i said these are just a few scenarios i gave out, if any of those scenarios happen, it will probly determine who win win in sales Sony or Microsoft. i want to hear what the Fanboys think tbh.
Im wondering who will win next gen, Sony or Microsoft? Im going to give a few scenarios why i think Sony could win with ease. a couple of ways Sony could win. scenario 1: Xbox 720 and PS4 come out the same time for the same price, Sony would win with ease. reason: xbox 720 will be a flop in japan just like the other 2, if sony can gain decent ground with PS4 in North America and Europe, PS4 will win in sales. scenario 2: RROD gives Xbox a bad name, next gen there will be no halo games and gears of war may become multi-plat. if word of mouth spreads about no more halo games that could really hurt Xbox 720's sales big time, halo single handedly saved Xbox 1 from being a total flop, halo 3 is also a huge system seller for Xbox 360 aswell as gears of war. a couple of ways Microsoft could win scenario 3: Xbox 720 comes out 1 year before PS4 that could hurt Sony, one of the main reasons Xbox 360 is coming second this gen is because it got a huge headstart, despite PS3 outselling 360 worldwide every year. scenario 4: Xbox 720 is cheaper then PS4 by $50-100 that would also help Microsoft beat Sony next gen, most of the time the cheapest console always sells better in America, except for gamecube and dreamcast maybe. Keep in mind lemmings, the 720 is not guaranteed to sell better then PS4 just because Xbox 360 is winning atm, the brand name never helps a console sell better, PS2 sold 100mil worldwide when PS3 came out, yet PS3 is in 3rd place. if Nintendo brings out another wii (zii) then no doubt Nintendo would be number 1. again due to the huge casual market.
