I don't think anyone cares about Heavy Rain.

God knows I don't. It looks horrible.

IGN's new review, that is. I cannot tell you how overwhelmed with disappointment I am. I was seriously looking forward to this game, and now it's just a flop. I just want to know what you fellow PS3 owners think about this . . . .

rabbeez43

I was saying the game would get around a 7 rating from the start. Somehow I knew.

Nothing about FEAR is scary when you realize that the spirits/ghosts can't harm you.

The only thing that unsettled me was Harlan Wade and the storyline revolving around Alma's life.

StrifeDelivery

I don't think that the posters here meant they actually thought the spirits were going to harm them. The game is creepy, it has the atmosphere, along with the music, to provide a game that also has those surprise scares. It can be creepy, and even scary to a few people, but that doesn't mean that they may think that the game is going to harm them or something.

.... haha oh wow.. Totally miss the point.

What I meant is that if the little illusions you saw in FEAR could actually cause the player physically harm, (the person's health bar) then it would have been a much creepier game. It defiantely would have kept me more on edge.

But I'm not really spooked by it because I played through the game at least 40 times. Actual count may be around 34, but you know what I mean. And I've played through enough scary games to know that the majority of scares in those games usually never cause the player any damage to his health. Besides Eternal Darkness of course.

Kill the løittle sisters and harvest their Adam. Use your adam points to upgrade your Plasmid slots and or buy other plasmid goodness.GXR

Saving them seems to be more beneficial then harvesting. While you get only 80 for saving, and 160 for harvesting, it actually comes out pretty close in the long run. Because for every 3 Little Sisters you choose to save, you are rewarded with 200 extra ADAM.

Save 3 little sisters and you get 240 ADAM. Every 3 you save you get an extra 200 for your good deeds. Which brings up your total to 440. You also get other Plasmids as gifts. Such as the ability to control a Big Daddy.

Harvest 3 little sisters and you get 480 ADAM. Which is only 40 higher then saving. But at the end of the game, the extra amount of ADAM you get for harvesting will be over 200 so you'd be getting more in the long run.

Find a Gene Bank. Those are the machines that have a large muscular man on their display. Those allow you to switch and toggle certain tonics and Plasmids. Unequipped ones are kept in storage so you can switch them in and out from any Gene Bank you find throughout Rapture.

Do this over & over until he runs out of tentacles and is open for attacks on his main body. But dont forget your defense. Evade, jump, evade, jump, & evade as much as possible while your going after him.JCblueside

Don't do that. The Tentacle Fiend is defenseless when it has lost it's two large tentacles, simply do combos on it until it's outer layer gets hard and immune to your attacks. Then back off a little and give it some space to regrow it's two new dominate tentacles. Repeat process of doing flying dragon sword attack against the tentacles, then attack when it's mouth opens and it's body becomes vulnerable.

Repeat until dead.

Very hard to call. But I'm leaning towards Half-Life 2.
