What was controversial about the boss battles?

@blackothh It's not because it's an old/tired formula, Halo 4's gameplay felt unoriginal compared to other shooters out there, and felt very distanced from previous entries in the series. Now it feels a lot more like your average Call of Duty. And COD plus Halo is not a good combination.

After seeing what 343 did with Halo 4, I doubt it will be as "revolutionary" as they say.
