@cornbredx Assassin's Creed 1 in a nutshell: Follow that guy. Pickpocket that other guy. Save that citizen. Climb that tower. Go and collect a bunch of flags within the time limit for your incompetent friend. And then when you’re done, get teleported all the way back to your headquarters so you can backtrack through miles of countryside, head to the next city and do it all over again and again and again.
This dude was basically praising AC 1, I thought the game was hot garbage. It's the only console/PC version I wasn't able to finish due to boredom. The series is getting stale, It has basically become another CoD franchise, same shit every year. Hopefully Ubisoft doesn't milk the shit out of Watch Doge like the did with AC
@EquilibriumEos Not to mention, the amount of money you save over the years from buying PC games over console more than makes up the console/PC price difference. Another thing that you failed to mention, PC games are generally much cheaper and go on crazy sales quite often.
@EquilibriumEos "I can only think of Dragon Age: Origins and The Witcher 2 as the only recent games that played better on PC"
-How about every Bethesda game ever made? (Hello, mods? Kind of a big deal that you failed to mention.) The Mass Effect Trilogy is infinitely better on PC, + a bunch of other games. Let's face it, PC's can do everything a console can do, minus play console exclusive games.
"Consoles are generally more convenient to use."
You talk about convenience, I have my PC hooked up to my big screen TV in my living room, and I play the majority of my games from my couch, and have the CHOICE of using a M&K or Controller. , Installation times are generally a one time thing and are are usually quickly done.
"Those with lives favor the console more because it's quicker to use and game on as soon as you get back from work."
Every game that I want to play is two clicks away. Steam is better than any service console owners get.
"You're probably some CoD PC hacker who is all about the "killz" while the true PC gamer just cares about good gameplay."
Not everyone that claims to be a"True gamer" are CoD fanboys, that's just a lame overused stereotype that people with nothing clever to say use. CoD sucks, I will admit, but I don't use it as a generalization.
@666NightsInHell There is nothing wrong with the controls, plug in a PS3/360 controller and it plays exactly like the console versions. They did a pretty good job with this port, quit crying.
