Titanfall did not factor into my decision making, just wanted a next gen console and was thinking PS4, but did not want to pre-order, wanted to see how both released. With XB1 being available and PS4 was not until March that swayed me a lot, then with no DLNA on PS4 it swayed me over.

It is a tough call, if you don't need wireless there are great options for like $120 so a wired headset could work better. I have also heard that the PS4 dedicated headset is really good, cheaper than the Astro's and compatible across systems and PC.
Titanfall is a fun game, nice and quick rounds with tight controls and the parkour element is a great concept, however I prefer the Battlefield approach to FPS. The larger maps with a more team based strategic focus just are more appealing and has more to keep coming back.
That said I am enjoying Titanfall a lot, with the one concern being team balance. With 6v6 maps I have been finding one team tends to get stacked with better players and all matches I have played have been purely one sided. If you are on a stronger team you dominate and even as a lower-level player you get a good score. On the weaker side you just get crushed.
What DarthGumballs said is 100% accurate, it is a RAM issue. Has happened to me once, and the other option is when turning off the XB1 hold the power button on the console down until it turns off. This is a hard reset (does not affect your hard drive or anything, it more similar to shutting down and powering up again instead of closing the screen and putting it on standby). Unplug the power brick for 30 seconds to 2 minutes and it will be working fine again.
It really depends on why you want them and what you expect to get out of them I guess. I bought some PX5's for $270 a few years ago as I needed wireless regarding distance from TV, and as a gaming headphone they are good, but the only major benefit I found was being able to isolate where footsteps / gunshots were coming from in an FPS. I found that I only used them when playing Black Ops or BF3, and not for other genres, so didn't really get my monies worth.
If you take a patient approach in a COD or Battlefield it will help your KDR and everything, but you need to really be into the genre or maybe want to game at night and not have the TV on or something. Really depends on personal circumstances but the value can be hard to justify with other options available.
I feel your pain on the quality control of the XB1 assembly line. My console appeared to be working perfectly, loved how quiet it was with the minor inconvenience that it would not read discs, which made playing games pretty hard on a gaming console. It would every now and then but usually took 5-6 attempts and 10-15 minutes before deciding it would work. I just replaced it 3 days ago and then the new one would not install one of my games, now it is having issues recognising discs again and instead of that quiet hum i hear a clicking type of sound as if there is a broken bit in the machine.
I was really on the fence over the system, but with PS4 being out everywhere I thought i would go XB1 and ultimately was enjoying it but there quality assurance has been pretty poor. Don't want to deter anyone as it is a good system, however would not mind it working properly.
Definitely worth it. I was on the fence pretty big time as I have a lot of other substitutes for a dedicated system, but it is nice to have. If you can afford it get it. It is nice to have a portable system where you can experience the random indie titles, and with PS+ free games every month is great. I like collecting the old school games, where my vita is bringing back king of fighters and street fighter on the go. For AAA it wont compete with a dedicated console on a big tv, but if you don't want it for that and accept it as a hand held with some great power go for it.
Hi everyone, just seeing if others have experienced ongoing issues where you put in a dvd or xbone game and it says cannot read disk put in an xbone game or dvd?
This was happening with my console for 2 months ongoing. After 5-6 attempts and waiting a couple of minutes before ejecting the disc and inserting again it would work, with other times it having the above message or not reading the disk at all.
Microsoft told me a potential work around "setting - network - mac and other - clear and restart. Then disconnect everything for a minute, restart and settings - dvd and disc drive - clear persient files. Apparently this has worked for people but did nothing for me. I bought the extended warranty from a store so they let me change it over, didnt have to go to MS, however now my new system is doing the same thing. Are there any tips people use for loading discs or could lightning have struck twice with my consoles?
Was enjoying the system and I understand launch issues, but kind of cut it wont read discs.
It really depends on what genre you enjoy and how you want to play it. If you want online multi-player play and enjoy FPS then the best option is BF4. This will keep you entertained and ensure you get your monies worth if you enjoy this type of thing.
For predominant offline play then if you enjoy sports games FIFA 14 or NBA 2k14 are excellent entries and will keep you going, or if you want something with more exploring and open world try AC4.
