@abHS4L88 You know what, Swapnote Buddy? I will go into my nearest retailer, rip the kiosk from it's bolts in the floor, run across the U.S. from Long Island to California, jump into the ocean with the Coast Guard on my tail, dolphin swim to Hawaii, throw coconuts at the Coast Guard, find your address, burst through the front of your house, shout like a war hero from ancient Scotland, slam the kiosk in your living room, and promptly shout so loud that I teleport back to my home, completely destroying the new island forming beneath Hawaii as you enjoy some game demos and totally ignore the hole in your house.

Already tried it at NY Comic Con, played the new Ninja Gaiden 3 and had a blast with it.

But my inner troll is telling me to go to my nearest Target, Best Buy, or GameStop and stand there playing the same game demo all day long from open to close, making sure nobody else has a chance to play it, until I'm torn away by security.

But that would be a waste of my time. Might try it next time I run an errand at Target.

@abHS4L88 Actually Swapnote Buddy, you'd be surprised at just how many people don't know about those games or this system. Hell, half of my gamer fans don't know what a ZombiU is, or that AC3 is coming to the U. Nintendo will always have a special place in our hearts, and there's no doubt that this thing will sell by name alone, but this commercial just made it look stupid. It just didn't explain the system enough. The way it was shown might confuse casuals, and the overly family-friendly tone might drive away hardcores. Which is sad, since the 3DS had a good marketing campaign that showcased all sorts of games.

But I agree that we have to give it time. This was just a bad starting point. Hopefully Ninty can get it together with better advertising soon.

Wow, that was a pretty bad commercial. It was just horrible "wub-wub" noises followed by people singing into the tablet.

I love Nintendo, but they need to get their head screwed on straight and advertise to the older crowd. This ad just paints the system as overly casual and family friendly, which isn't a bad thing, but the "hardcore" crowd (arguably the most important crowd) will probably see it as juvenile. Plus, it didn't do a lot of explaining to differentiate itself from the original Wii. Less dubstep, more explaining so people will know it's a new console. Heck, like other people have said, even if they showed a few seconds of somebody playing ZombiU or ACIII, it would have been better.

Or maybe I'm just overreacting because I'm overly tired.

Still not paying $40 for a freaky sex toy disguised as a gaming peripheral.

No high hopes here. Since we've never heard any news or watched any gameplay of it, why should I be excited? Promises of fanservice can only go so far...

I swear to Miyamoto, if i have to hear Call Me Maybe ONE MORE TIME, I might have have a complete and odd psychotic break in the middle of a Starbucks, pouring iced coffee down my shirt until the men in the white coats give me my happy needle and I go back to Fairyland, where all my dreams come true.

Gangnam Style is fun though, but I'll eventually get sick of it. But now, if you excuse me, I'm going to go listen to some classic rock while wondering where mainsteam music started to suck.
