well you have to go back into Display settings and then change the res into what you want it to be. and for the ethernet you have to re-instal your broadband router and all that stuff. btw formatting your drive (ie deleteing a partition) effectively means you start from basic windows. i hope you have your a driver cd.yoyo462001

Ok. So i wanted to delete Windows XP and reinstall it. So I deleted a partition and installed Windows XP.

But now whenever I start up the computer the resolution is all screwed up and i won't detect the ethernet cable or anything like that.

I'm guessing I deleted the drivers too :?
