The X-Files of AP Homework

Well, because of the new movie coming out for The X-Files, I thought I should check the show out. I saw the pilot on TNT and it was really good! I think I will start watching it!

Well, my AP work is due tomorrow and I still have stuff to do like an essay...wish me luck!!

Running to Stand Still

Yeah, I took that title from One Tree Hill, who took that title from U2.

Well, the reason for that title is because Cross Country summer training has started! The first practice was yesterday. I haven't run all summer, so I pretty much sucked yesterday. I walked frequently (and I'm not a very good runner to begin with). Today was good though because I barely walked and I was the first one to make it to the school! (I was in the short group; there is a long group, which runs farther than the short group). I was still happy to be first though! The fastest runner on our team was the third to make it to the school, which was impressive!

A Smart License to Get Wed

I just saw two pretty good movies! The first was License to Wed. Starring Robin Williams, Mandy Moore and John Krasinski, this movie is about the joys (and mostly perils) of getting married. It was funny and entertaining and I love John Krasinski from The Office and Mandy Moore is one of my favorite actresses! It's rated PG-13 for sexual humor and language. It's mostly all dialogue that's bad, but it still may be inappropriate for kids.

The other movie I saw was Get Smart, starring Steve Carrell, Anne Hathaway and Dwayne Johnson. Great cast (including Masi Oka from Heroes)! It was very funny and full of action! Steve Carrell is hilarious! It's rated PG-13 for some rude humor, action violence and language. Although that doesn't sound too bad, it does show Steve Carrell's bare butt and there is a kiss (non-romantic) between Steve and Dwayne. It's an iffy when it comes to kids watching it because otherwise, it isn't that bad of a movie aside from the above mentioned instances.

Journey to the Center of the Japanese Editorship

I just saw Journey to the Center of the Earth in 3D. It was pretty cool! I loved the action and the adventure! I enjoyed it and the 3D was pretty cool! I'm wearing the 3D glasses right now, in fact! :P It's rated PG for intense adventure action and some scary moments. Small kids might get scared, but it's clean!

I also just became editor for I Survived a Japanese Game Show! I'm excited about that! I will begin working on the guide tomorrow because I don't have much time today. I have to go! Bye! :)

Picture This: Me Beating Guitar Hero...Again

Okay, well, I just saw the ABC Family movie, Picture This. It was okay. I didn't like how she got away with everything and then her reward was that her father now trusts her. That defeats the whole purpose. Well, I enjoyed it anyways.

Also, I beat the first Guitar Hero yesterday for the second time (my sister erased my data). It was way easy than I thought, but probably because I've done it before.

The Last Samurai is Full

I just saw The Last Samurai yesterday. That was a really good movie! Since I'm Japanese, it was cool to see my heritage or whatever. It's rated R for strong violence and battle sequences. It's pretty violent, but not as violent as some other R movies. There was no sex or profanity though, so that was good!

I just ate a whole Hamburger Helper meal thing. I'm so full now! It's kind of random, but I couldn't eat anything right now even if I tried.

The Invisible Presidents

I just saw the movie The Invisible. It was pretty good. It did confuse me a little bit, but I sort of got by the end. It wasn't as good as I thought it'd be, but I liked it still. It's rated PG-13 for violence, criminality, sensuality and language - all involving teens. It's not for kids, but it's not a really bad PG-13.

I have to memorize all the US presidents for my AP History class. Not only their names, but also their party and the years they served. I'm only really worried about the years. That would seem harder than names and their party. Well, talk to you guys later! :)

Guitar Hero, No, I Mean AP Homework...

Well, I got the first Guitar Hero for the PS2. I'd already beaten it with my friend's game, but then my little sister and her friend erased all my data, so I bought it and I'm going to go through it again because I haven't played it in a while anyways. It's pretty fun, but it does get a little repetitive. It's a great music/rhythm game, but it is rated T for mild lyrics.

I have so much summer homework for my AP classes! I'm trying to do it right now, but I just couldn't, so I came on here to vent just a little. I've done quite a bit so far, but I still have to do three essays and read another book and do another chapter in my workbook and memorize the presidents and analyze 9 documents (which have to be found over the Internet). AHHHH!!!!!

Okay, I feel better, so I will try and do one of my essays now. Wish me luck! ;)

The Secret Life of the American Eagle Scout

I just watched the first episode of The Secret Life of the American Teenager. It seems like a pretty good show, but I think they talk about sex too much. It's too focused on sex. I think it has great potential and especially since Brenda Hampton (creator of 7th Heaven) is behind it! I will continue watching it and hopefully, it gets better!

I just worked on my friend's Eagle Scout Project today. We painted a map of the USA on a nearby school. It was more fun that regular labor and I hope to start mine really really soon!

Saving Private Ryan

This isn't a combined title because I only have one thing.

I just saw the movie Saving Private Ryan. Wow! What an amazing movie! The battles were extremely realistic and the sounds were so blisteringly good! It was really sad when a guy died because you got to know the character. There was a great cast! I knew Tom Hanks, Matt Damon, Vin Diesel, Jeremy Davies and Paul Giamatti. It was pretty graphic in terms of violence and language was also moderately bad with F words and others. It's rated R for intense prolonged realistically graphic sequences of war violence, and for language. It might be my favorite movie! Definitely not for kids.

I have to go, bye!!
