Yeah after playing HL2 no other game can really compete. Still I was dissapointed with Halo 3 also. I agree it was fun but I still think Halo 2 was a much better game. I also think they could have changed some more things about Halo 3 to make it a little bit of a "newer" experience.Chadcicle

VGLeo34, I thought the ending for Halo 3 was really good. I like the fact that Master Chief exits the story the same way he entered it by getting back into hischryo chamber (or whatever terminology you would use for that). Unless, you were referring to the Legendary ending that I've heard about, but I haven't beaten the game on Legendary yet so I wouldn't know about that ending. I'm not saying that you should feel the same way I do, you are entitled to your own opinion. I just wanted to express my feelings about it.

Now see that's the way to handle something instead of just calling me a prick and saying I am biased to my PS3.

whoa, my salary doesn't come per game, and look at my gamertag! I DO like the new maps, and I have been playing them alot! But yes Halo 3 did sell more copies than R&C. But there two completely different games! on different controller! And if you wannna talk fanboyism try saying a great game(in my mind and I guess the mind of others on gamespot review boards) sucks like you just did, the R&C series is one of the best platformers out there(but then again look at the competition,Mario, sly and I guess god of war), not game of the year but great(better than uncharted!)Anyone else think I am still biased cause i work here at Insomniac? Halo 3 isn't exactly like Halo 2. There are some distinctions between the two. Overall I wasn't too impressed with the way Halo 3 turned out. I think many people (myself included) were expecting, I don't know, something more. But to its credit, it does give you the same solid gaming goodness we've come to expect.

I think that the Campaign is better suited in co-op. The story is INTERESTING at the beggining but the ending really shot ne with a shell in the stomach.But Multi is great, just wish more people were wantin to play hide and seek. now,forge, with the heroic map pack forge is awesome,without not so much.

By what I hear it's mopstly 8 year olds and Frat boys on most of the time, that's why mass effect rules by the way, it had an okay sized marketing campaign outside of gamers and it was a true gamers game.

It's also the most played xbox game because......wait, isn't gears still beating it? whatever, if it is #1 it's because the XBOX Live list of Multiplayergames has 3 this season(that are new)TF2(which plays better on PC), COD4, and the aforementioned HALO 3

I will give bungie props for the skull idea though, there like easter eggs for lasy people, I just wish I didn't have to play through the whole game again to get them all, seriously, I did it once, got a skull, twice and I realize I haven't finished the fight but have only enlisted for duty!

Also the way the Captain dies and the Johnson dude dies seem pretty brief not nearly as groundbreaking as thought.
