My first review

Now well see If It gets accepted Fair Winds and Following Seas While the final episode tried to tie up some loose ends (the operative word being "tried"), it was a sad way to conclude what was once a terrific show. You'd have to go back three years to re-capture JAG in its prime--with wonderful action sequences, plot lines that kept the viewer glued to the television, and the kind of writing and acting that made for incredible entertainment. The last episode was a series of Harm and Mac flashbacks from previous episodes, a thin story line of a Navy JAG lieutenant helping out a kid who lied about his age to get into the Marines, which could have been left out and last minute shuffling of the JAG staff.

The Real JAG visits the set of JAG

The Judge Advocate General visits the set of JAG TV Feb 20, 2001 "JAG" is "A one-hour, dramatic series that follows the adventures of the JAG team as they investigate, defend and prosecute military-related cases from their home base near Washington, D.C." Although JAG TV programs take dramatic license with the real life day-to-day work of Navy Judge Advocates, the appearance of the Navy Judge Advocate General will add a note of reality to an upcoming segment of the JAG TV series RADM Don Guter, JAGC, USN, recently participated in filming a segment of the JAG TV show. During a site visit to San Diego, he made a stop at Paramount Television Studios in Valencia, California, to complete the filming of "Liberty". Here are still photos of his preparation for the show. The segment will air Tuesday, 27 March, 2001, on CBS (8 pm ET). Watch for him also on "Entertainment Tonight," (on CBS at 1930 ET) either on Monday, the 26th or Tuesday the 27th. In the series "Commander Harmon "Harm" Rabb, Jr. (David James Elliott) is a daring Navy officer and lawyer who works together with partner Lt. Colonel Sarah "Mac" MacKenzie (Catherine Bell), “JAG” Admiral Chegwidden (John M. Jackson) and attorney Lieutenant Bud Roberts (Patrick Labyorteaux)" (not shown here). L) RADM Guter is about to enter the dressing room for a little Hollywood makeup magic. R) "Voila!" He emerges looking like, well, an admiral. L) "Harm" and the JAG discuss "how to's" with the military technical advisor (Matt Sigloch). R) The director (Jeannot Szwarc) is taken aback when RADM Guter, insists on top billing (just kidding). L) David James Elliott, RADM Guter, and Matt Sigloch. L) RADM Guter is interviewed by Entertainment Tonight. "Yes, my mother has always said I was a real character. " (Watch for it to air either 3/26 or 3/27.) R) RADM Guter with TV JAG , John M. Jackson. This is an actual scene from the filming. Tune in to learn what they are discussing.
