I have been pondering about cheat codes, and considering wouldn't it be nice if we had more that were like the ones featured in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.

I do not like easy games to much, as it feels more rewarding when I finally complete what I was hoping to achieve. For instance, I was trying to complete Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock on Hard difficulty. I had got to the point where I could not beat, "The Devil Went Down To Georgia." I knew there were no cheat codes or glitches which could help me out of my situation, so I spent around 2 hours on the one song, my wrists were beginning to fall off and I was just about ready to throw Guitar Hero out of the window shouting rude words at it. But I kept going, and I eventually did it. I was so happy that I ran around the house like a raving looney in great happiness, knowing that I had accomplished something.

Now, we begin to reach my point. If there was a cheat code or glitch to unlock the achievement "Always Hard", I may have given in and just cheated. Also the same goes for Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare on veteran difficulty. After completing Call of Duty I went and got the last few achievements I had left: "Your Show Sucks", "Look Sharp" and "Eyes And Ears". I did not realise they unlocked cheats as I collected them, and since I had completed the games SP fully, as far as I was concerned, I thought I would have a quick look at them. I was expecting the same old, rehashed cheats that many games have had: "Invunarable", "Unlimited Ammo" etc. However, to my suprise... they were actually funny cheats. For instance, "A Bad Year", cheat allows you to turn the enemy into tyres when they are killed. This made the game alot more interesting and made me want to do levels again with these cheats on. Also playing "All Ghillied Up" with the cheat which speeds up the game, turns it black and white, and plays the piano music, was hilarious to play.

These are the cheat codes that I would like to see more of in video games. However I am aware that even with unlimited ammo, and invunerability games can still be fun. For instance, GTA is very fun running around with unlimited ammo and health doing as you please. However it makes the game to easy and I found the game to get a little boring after a while.

So, would you like to see the old, "unlimted ammo/health" etc. cheats gone?!

Hi Guys,

After gaming on LIVE for just over a year, I finally reached my 1000 achievement! Thanks to Tenchu Z's, "Defeat 30 Tomikichi" I am now the proud owner of 1000 achievements. Just a few GS of 20000 GS but will post blog when I reach it. Also I have gone into my first prestige in Cod4, I plan on going the full 10 times and then going for golden guns!

No I Did Not Suffer From The RROD, No I Suffered What I Presume To Be A Graphics Chip Error. I Would Be Playing Blue Dragon And Graphic Lines Would Start Shooting Around The Place, And Making The 360 Crash. Also Games Would Just Randomly Freeze Up Or The Sound Would Cut Out.

There Is An Important Lesson To Be Learned Here Young Padawans...

Everyone knows about them.... CONSOLE WARS!

I will be discussing a new PS3, Wii, PC game I bought recently with my friends on XBOX LIVE, and some random fanboy will say something very typical such as;

"XBOX 360 KILLS Wii/PS3"

"WHY ARE YOU WASTING YOU TIME WITH THAT ****"

"PCs ARE FOR LOSERS WITH NO GAMING SENSE AND GIRLFRIEND!"

etc.

So I just simply reply to them, "Each console has it's own unuique advantage, Wii has a family fun factor, PS3 has graphics and some new ideas to heighten gaming experiences,the Xbox 360 has a good selection of games and software and the PC has huge graphics power and allows people to make cool mods."

They will probably then, remain silent or just say: "Urghhh... DO I CARE!?" etc.

From what I've seen console wars just seem to make people ignorant, and not see how one console seems to have better qualties than the other. Also if there was only one brand of console, it would allow game developing companies to spend less money and time developing for other genres and having to delay them, because of difficulties with one console. One console with; The Graphics capabilites of a PS3, The Software of an Xbox 360 and The Fun off a Wii. The only reason I have not said the upgradeableness of a PC, is because this makes it even more awkward for companies to design games as they do not know what everyone is using. (Software and Hardware-wise.)

Now, I've only been gaming for about 8 years, (since I was 5), and I really don't see the point in why I should have to buy a seperate console to play a certain game. For example: MGS4:GOP (PS3), Gears of War (Xbox 360), The Legend of Zelda (Nintendo DS, Wii) etc.

I would not mind having to buya DS or PSP for the time being as they are portable consoles, but having 3 different brands of home consoles just seems to bea bit of a rip off.

Please comment, no fanboyishness please, since this blog post is against this anyway.

It was tough but I've done it... I am now the proud owner of 1000 GS of BioShock on my Gamercard. BOOOOOOO YAHHHHHH!

I recently bought the BioShock Collector's Edition. It came with a Big Daddy Figure (:D) the making of BioShock and The BioShock EP, not to forget the game. I have been listening to the EP for quite a bit now and I actually like it! I didn't think I'ld enjoy old time songs but these remixed techno like songs, are very appealing. I reccomend it to anyone who has a friend who owns the EP or maybe you own it! To rip it to there PC or Xbox 360 at once! As once you listen to it a few times you begin to really enjoy it. So stop reading this and go and get it!
