I have a freind that is wanting to buy a new PC. He doesnt want to build his own and doesnt have the experience. The one he is probably going to buy

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/HP+-+Pavilion+Desktop+-+10GB+Memory+-+1.5TB+Hard+Drive/4602991.p?id=1218501940330&skuId=4602991#BVRRWidgetID

I dont think its a very good deal for the price. He wants to play Shogun 2 and SWTOR. If it can play that and a little more for under 780$ would be great. He needs an OS with it. Not a monitor.

Any help is appreciated.

LOL I was going to buy that piece of sh*t months ago until I realized it WAS a "piece of SH*T." But yeah, go with the one MonsieurX posted. Although you could probably find something cheaper than $700 and most likely the same specs. Just sayin'

I picked this out for him since he will be taxed like $30 extra anyway. I just want to confirm. P.S. I keep getting posts that say Circuit City went out of business three years ago. No it didn't. Systemax bought it in 2009 and now it is only available to shop online. Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the nice build but i dont have anyone to build it for me. I could try but if i messed it up, then ill be out 100 or so $. I dont want that to happen.

How much better is this build than the asus or iBuypower/Cyberpower ones?

Circuit City? What the hell? That's still a thing?

SysteMax bought it in 2009. It still is in business online.

[QUOTE="Ugalde-"][QUOTE="rawsavon"][QUOTE="Ugalde-"]@rawsavon A million is a guaranteed house and car.

and...not life changing (for me)

Yeah for someone like me that would be amazing. I live in a crappy apartment with a broke family and I'm really struggling to get my car out of repo right now.

Really?

[QUOTE="spikekyn"]

I have been saving for the past year for a gaming PC. I have saved up about 650$. I need help finding the best possible pre built PC that can play the most games like D3, Skyrim, SWTOR and anything else. I also need it to have an OS. I have a monitor and a mouse and keyboard but wont mind if it comes with them. Any help is appreciated ALOT.

I have been looking into the iBuypower and Cyberpower PC's on Newegg. How would they handle games?

I dont want to build my own PC.

I wouldnt trust anything from ibuypower or cyberpower because they are simply the same pcs but at a different site. I am just saying this due to some past experiences I have had with those companies. Some people may have it a different way. Anyway, my advice to you is keep looking at sites like newegg, tigerdirect, or maybe even bestbuy.
