I'm to old to think that a few zelots will change the clear path of an oncoming train... nothing is stopping this... you may have a hold out... for a while, but this is the future... sure there will eventually be better ways, but right now this is the direction everything is moving.

@edant79 I'm thinking the disc will work as confirmation just as well as an internet connection this only applies if you don't have the disc in... in that way a lot like Steam...

This is the future... if you don't like it then give up gaming. I would prefer everything ran like GoG.com, but that's just not how it works.
