I've been dying to find some light rock bands I like, but I'm just not finding what I'm looking for.
Let me specify. I'm looking for music along the lines of this and this, focusing on a light tone and acoustic melodies mixed with a little electric guitar.
Not really a "war", but one of my ancestors was a Cherokee survivor of the Trail of Tears. She did the whole journey on her own, and her entire family had their throats slit while she went off to get water.
I was 4 years old. I took a medicine called Sulfa. We lived in the country at the time, far from a hospital, and I had an anaphylaxic reaction( my windpipe swelled shut). My mother rushed me to the hospital, almost wrecking twice, even calling the police to tell them they could NOT stop her. We got to the hospital and they had me in a room before they even knew my name. Doctors said another minute and I would have died. First thing I remember in my life, and I remember the entire day. I know have a huge phobia of anything medical involving the throat area.
