Actually Im VERY GREATFUL for the blu ray player in my own interest, back when Blu ray first came out I wanted a blu ray player so bad but didnt want to spend $1000.00 on one, man im so glad Sony implemented blu ray and saved me $1000.00  That was a dream come true because i was going to buy the PS3 with or without blu ray so its like i got a free blu ray player because now i dont have to pay $800.00 for a blu ray player! 

A lot of people have really been bashing and coming down really hard on the PS3 lately that people get so consumed in the media bashing the PS3 they dont actually take time to show appreciation to sony and what they have done in the PS3.. So this is my official Thank you sony thread..

THANK YOU SONY For implementing Free built in WIFI and not making me run a cable through a 2 story house

THANK YOU SONY For implementing Digital Media card readers so I can store digital pictures with ease from my Digital camera Card and being able to share pictures at ease in the comfort of my living room when Company is over and taking care of me having friends and family gater around a small computer monitor just to see pictures

THANK YOU SONY for allowing PC streaming with the new update so now I can View ALL my PC content and listen to music stored on my PC directly to my PS3 in the comfort in my living room and best of all not using any HDD Space.

THANK YOU SONY for implementing built in blutooth, now I dont have to purchase a special headset that ONLY works with the PS3, I can just use my Bluetooth headset I already have.

THANK YOU SONY for including a good size 60 GB HDD and giving me the option to upgrade my HDD with Ease.

THANK YOU SONY For implementing HDMI 1.3 out of the box for a TRUE HD experience.

THANK YOU SONY for including a built in web browser. When I have company over and I want to show them something funny on youtube, I can just power on my PS3 and in the comfort of my living room share the funny youtbue video with company.

THANK YOU SONY last but not least for INCLUDING Built in BLU RAY, Im loving the blu ray experience and trust me, Blu ray looks AMAZING compared to standard DVD on a 55 inch TV. Thank you sony for saving me $800.00 in having to buy a seperate blu ray player!!

I thought I would show appreciation to sony because they have really made everything a lot more convenient. you might say "but its suppose to be a gaming machine, where are the games" Oh the great games are coming my friends, in a few months time! By this holiday season when such games as Socom, Uncharted, Lair and warhawk are released, I will have one more thank you to add on my list.. THANK YOU SONY for providing AMAZING GAMES!!

And if you say Sony made a mistake by including a built in blu ray player then you must not have a decent HDTV because I already own 7 blu ray movies and so far im LOVING the blu ray experience, there is such a huge difference between DVD and Blu ray, im so glad sony included blu ray because that really does save me $800.00-$1,000.00 of having to buy a blu ray player. Trust me, if you have a decent HDTV and you experience blu ray, you will be greatful to sony also for implementing blu ray!! 

I was doing some thinking and im actually glad that sony doesnt spend tons of money for exclusive third party titles.. Why should they?! I mean think about it, look at developers like ubi soft and EA and how they make sloppy ports because they dont know how to harness the true power of the cell. People are always saying "Sony is too arrogant, they need to pay for more 3rd party exclusives" Umm why?! The 3rd party devs would just make mediocre games because they dont know how to utilize the cell and rsx properly. Im a firm believer in the saying "if you want it done right.. Gotta do it yourself" and sony is using that philosphy by investing more money into their own 1st/2nd party titles because who better to utilize the cell and RSX better than Sony themselves?! makes perfect business sense to me.. Actually it makes perfect common sense, why spend tons of money on mediocre 3rd party exclusives from lazy devs when you can make amazing 1st/2nd party titles even better.

I mean look at Uncharted, Lair,Heavenly Sword, Ratchet and clank and little big planet, do you really think that third party devs such as EA and Ubi soft could pull off such great looking games?! Ofcourse not, sure maybe in about 3-4 years when they FINALLY get a hint and realize how to use the Cell and RSX properly. The reason why Lair, Heavenly sword etc look so amazing is because they are FROM sony, and who better to utilize the Cell and RSX properly then sony themselves the actual creator of the Cell and RSX.. I mean think about it, its not that sony is being arrogant by not paying for exclusive 3rd party titles,  why should they?! think about it So far all the PS3 has got from 3rd party devs are sloppy ports, Can you blame them for not pouring in tons of money to those same devs?!

I dont see why people are so shocked by this whole MGS4 news. if memory serves me correctly MGS2 was on Xbox and MGS1 was remade for Gamecube and the PS2 is still selling like crazy. I just dont quite understand how MGS4 going to the 360 is bad for either 360 fans or PS3 fans. I mean its one of those things that not good or bad, its called a multiplat game. Its not THAT big of a deal

Right now it might seem like a big deal that MGS4 is going to the 360 however when teh game is finally released it wont be that big deal at all and heres why... By the time MGS4 is released next year most likely, the PS3 will already have killer titles out. Heavenly Sword,Lair,Killzone,WarHawk,Socom,Ratchet and Clank,Uncharted,Little Big Planet and also such big titles such as Gran Turismo and Final Fantasy will also be on the horizon and also "Home" will be well established by that time.

The bottom line is by the time MGS4 is released it wont even matter  if its multiplat because PS3 will be in A LOT better position by that time. PLUS that E3 of next year we will most likely see new Twisted Metal and God of War in the works and besides that, MGS sold well on the PS3 but games Like Gran Turismo and God of war always sold better than MGS and GT and God of war are true system sellers. Even If MGS4 went to 360, Gran Turismo and God of war 3 are enough reason already to own a 360 not to mention socom.

Right now it might seem like such a huge deal MGS4 is going to 360 but also consider that right now PS3 has no good games out yet. By next year there will be so many good PS3 games people will be like Metal Gear who?
