Ten was part grunge, part hard rock, they've pretty much abandoned both since Ten (imo the most awesome album of the 90's)Uh why are you arguing this with me? I said PJ was originally considered grunge though not anymore. And I did say they are alternative and/or hard rock as well. Am I missing something here?:? No you're not missing something and no I'm not arguing with you, I just wanted to point out that Ten was the most awesome album of the 90's :)[QUOTE="Viper_GTS-R"][QUOTE="LJS9502_basic"] No. But that was the first hit. Pearl Jam considers themselves hard rock by the way....LJS9502_basic

[QUOTE="MarcusAntonius"][QUOTE="LJS9502_basic"] Always been considered alternative/hard rock and only grunge in the 90's. But just to show some evidence I googled and got this on Wiki.LJS9502_basic
If it's on Wikipedia, then it HAS to be true.
No. But that was the first hit. Pearl Jam considers themselves hard rock by the way.... Ten was part grunge, part hard rock, they've pretty much abandoned both since Ten (imo the most awesome album of the 90's)[QUOTE="foxhound_fox"]Their newest album was fantastic:| (No not as good as the older stuff, but still fantastic) It was a pretty good album....William Duvall is as close as you can get to Staley.Soundgarden reuiniting? I never even knew... hopefully it will turn out a little better than Alice In Chains' attempt (which couldn't really be helped due to Staley's being dead and all).

And bands like the Stone Temple Pilots and Red Hot Chili Peppers releasing albums in 2010, is the 90's alt. rock/grunge scene making a comeback? I for one hope so because this past decade was one of the worst, with a couple of exceptions, for the rock scene.
For those that care the lead guitarist of the Red Hot Chili Peppers has left the band...he's one of the best guitarist out there and the Peppers best stuff was made while he was in the band but the good news is that his protege Josh Klinghoffer is taking his place since Dave Navarro confirmed that he is not returning to the band.Their first album since 2006 will probably be released in late 2010/early 2011...can't wait :D
[QUOTE="clyde46"]Yeah, I believe that's true. Actually no, he was Rosey's partner in the short lived stable "3 minute warning" he was known as Jamal... when the WWE released him last year because of failing a drug test they offered him a chance to go to rehab but he declined...so sad that great wrestlers like Test,Eddie,Chris all have died because of unnatural causes :( anyways R.I.P. Youmanga, as William Regal called him, will be missed :cry:Wasn't he also called "Rosie" at one point and he was partners with the Hurricane?
