The average time spent on the 360.

enral

I'm not too crazy of a gamer. I'll play maybe3to 4 times a week for 2 to 5 hours at a time.

oh and if it means anything I used to be a huge sony fan. I used to always come on system wars and bash the xbox360 but i relize now we buy gaming consoles to play games so with the choice to only get one consolethe 360 looks like the most logical choice for me. But hey maybe i'll end up getting a PS3 also someday. For now not enough games for the PS3 are giving me the "WOW!!!" effect.

Thats great and all, but it still begs the fact that you cant play all those great games if youre constantly sending the system back to get repaired.

I think this hardware issue thing is being blown way out of proportion. I'v had mine since nov 2006 and I have had no problems.

What is theaverage time you switched on ur 360?

average time I switched on me 360? huh please restate the question.

I leave out the nintendo wii in this debate because I feel its dumb to compare apples to oranges.

Even if it is so that the PS3 isthe most "powerful / reliable"hardware it is still nothing without good software to back it up.

The Xbox360 may have a hardware issue with a "33% failure rate" ( I believe i keep hearing ) but is backed by top notch software ( a killer game line up, xbox live, xbox live arcade ect... )

Now tell me do gamers want a nice piece of hardware collecting dust in their house or do they want to take the chance with a small failure rate in order to have the best hardcore ( and softcore with xbox live arcade ect... )gaming experience in the console world.

[QUOTE="Virus642"]I'v seen the HD gameplay video for this game and wasn't really wowed by it.The gameplay seems a bit dry with enemy's standing around and running up to youpretty much saying "shoot me shoot me". The fire effects look more like lava than fire. Yes the graphics are nice but look at call of duty 4. This game lookslike it will turn outan average shooter. I predict a 7.7 for killzone 2. Whats all the killzone 2hype about? ... I fail to see.legalize3

ofcourse it didnt WoW you if its not on your choosen console

Ifthe PS3 was my "choosen console" I would no buy this game withoutat leastplaying the demo first or playing at a friends house.

I'v had mine since nov 2006 and have had no major problems.

Its standing up vertical in an open vented area (although it is sucking up my alread "warm air" from all the electronics turned on inmy roomto "cool" itoff)

My advice is to not play any longer than 5 hours at a time (you shouldn't be anyway), keep it in a good vetilated area, run the AC more often if possible (don't worry about the electric bill in the summer, your xbox360 will keep you warm all winter). Treat it good and it should keep you warm for many winters to come.
