Thanks again, just bought Bad Company 2 so that should keep me entertained for a while. Bulletstorm is still 50 euro on steam though so I'll wait until that drops in price a little.

I will probably get it at some point, but not at launch. Battlefield 3 is my first priority right now.

Im surprised you dont play BFBC2 if youre waiting on BF3. Its a brilliant stop gap. And it has way more than 1000 people playing it... last time I checked there was something like 6000. Looks and plays brilliantly if youre PC can handle it.bonafidetk
Yeah you're right, the more I think of it the less sense it makes that I'm not playing it. I did actually play the open beta but since I was still playing MW2 at the time I never really got into it.
I have one of those Logitech Chillstream controllers that I use for race games, even though it has been collecting dust for a while now.
I use my mouse and keyboard for everything else.
Some RPG Shooters:
Bioshock 1 & 2
Fallout 3
Fallout New Vegas
Borderlands
Mass effect 1 & 2
Some Fantasy RPG's
The Witcher 1 & 2
Dragon Age 1 & 2
Oblivion
For pretty much all of the listed games that have sequels I kind of liked the first part better (With the exeption of Mass Effect and The Witcher 2)
But I still recommend not skipping on the first parts though.
Bad Company 2 still has 1000+ people playing daily so I would say it's still worth it. I play both vanilla and hardcore so if you're looking for a squadmate hit me up. It depends on what you're looking for so I'll list out a few. Straight Up Action Bulletstorm: Just made a topic praising it, honestly it's incredibly fun F.E.A.R. 1+ Expansions: You can get the entire set for like...10(?) via steam. It's worth it, little dated but still fun. It's not so much scary as it is atmospheric Serious Sam: Just any of them Duke Nukem Forever: Coming out this week sooo....yeah Prey: I don't know how to describe this... Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay Bioshock: Pretty heavy in shooter with a decent story behind it. Survival(ish) S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Play Shadow of Chernobyl and Call of Pripyat. Clear Sky is...less than impressive. Remember to get full conversion mods Metro 2033: Short game, similar aspects to stalker, but absolutely breathtaking atmosphere. RPG(ish) Deus Ex: Can't go wrong with this classic. Half Life 1: I consider this RPGish just based on how much story there is to it. I have a ton more but I think this is a general enough list till you specify what you're looking for. All the best to yaKeyLime314Thanks for taking the time to write that all down. I have actually played most of them but did not give Bulletstorm a try yet, so I may have to give that a shot. I briefly tried a S.T.A.L.K.E.R. game at a friend of mine.. the latest one I believe, but I really didn't like it much. Maybe some mods could improve that though.
TECHNICALLY i can say Battlefield 3, because it doesnt come out in November :Dkris9031998Well you did kind of have me there, I actually thought it was also a November release but I was off by a few days. =P
Ugh.. edit kind of messed the quote up.
I always go for EVGA cards, because on top of being a great card it also has a 10 year limited warranty.. which is always nice! =) (I believe some even had a limited lifetime warranty but I'm not sure about that now)
So I was just wondering, what will you guys be playing until the big November releases hit the stores?
I honestly have no idea what I should play until Battlefield 3, and maybe Modern Warfare 3 come out.
Maybe I'm overlooking something but to me it seems the only contenders right now are: Modern Warfare 2,
CS 1.6 / CS: Source, Team Fortress 2, Bad Company 2 and possibly CoD: Black ops and CoD 4. Aside from
Team Fortress 2 and Bad Company 2 I played all those games and I'm kind of looking for something fresh.
(Is Bad Company 2 still worth playing?)
Recommendations are welcome!
Just because you have a horrible taste in games does not mean the games themselves are bad or overrated.
